Thanks guys ! Our 3 night stay was excellent !
The room was a good size, the beds were very comfortable, frigde TV and coffee machine available, ice machine vending machine and gym on site, breakfast was satisfying eggs sausage cereals bagels and donuts maybe a little bacon would be nice next time. A big thank you to your staff for giving us directions. Location was great the subway is only 3 minutes walk down the street, 20 mins to Times Square and there is a laundromat only 1 minute away and a handy 24 hour shop next door.
Of course some room for improvement like vacuuming in rooms could be better and the TV remote was faulty and there was no free bottled water included but with the money we paid it represents excellent value in New York
Thanks a million will definitely be back 👍
The room is subpar for an alleged 3-star hotel, and the hotel is a bit understaffed. There was no shampoo and body lotion in the room, and we had to go down to front desk to pick them up because only one guy was working there. The bath towels seem not cleaned enough as they have a strange smell. And the WiFi is a complete joke. It takes 5 minutes to open Gmail and forever to load any single mail. Plus the signal dropped off so frequently that it's not worth it to keep trying.
The location is OK and convenient. The facility is up to the standard. But the managing and cleanness are way below par. The staff at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. We asked for an extra quilt or blanket. He said they didn't have because they were sold out. And meanwhile someone came to ask the rate and he offered a price instead of "sold out". Full out bs! And he was literally like check in or go. Not until I went to bed that I realized I was given a room half underground with a mini window but I reserved a "City View "! Because of the argument? The sheet had stains and the pillow had dirt spots. There were hairs on the pillows not from me. Luckily I only stay a night and will never come back again!
Booked for several nights and received a confirmation, but when we arrived found out our room was cancelled and they didn't tell us. We were able to get a room there for that first night but they were booked full for the remainder of our time in NYC. So we had to scramble to find a room elsewhere. The place is a dump anyway, so would not recommend staying here.
The location of this hotel is great, right next to Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza. The rooms were clean, as was the bathroom. On entry, or toilet was broke; however, it was fixed by the time we got back. The bed and pillows are terrible. The sheets did not fit the bed, so my feet were on the mattress, something I did not relish. The blanket was also not big enough. The pillows were small and to soft to do anything. It was a horrible night sleep.
I am still staying here. But completely appalled I have spent the majority of 2 weeks here. And am intending to stay at the same location for the next 3 months while working. 2 hotel 1 very large bill and I was literally like flipped out on for bringing my bike inside to my room to store it upside down.
They told me to lock a 1000$ bike up to a wooden hand rail screwed in by a few drywall screws!!! And told me that the camera is fake!!!!! And doesn't even record anything.
And this guy just told me after spending 2000$ on a room that I cantg store my bike in it for work it's ridiculous. He wouldn't work with me.
Rough +shabby neighborhood. Nice people managing, though sometimes a bit slow. Good breakfast supply. But it was better equipped 5 yrs ago Quite minimalist in soap and towels supply. Spacious bathrooms
Dirty Sheets & Quilts! Irresponsible Customer Service!
Unknowing, I slept on a dirty quilt full of stains for 2 days. After noticing it, I went to the Front Desk to complain about it. They changed the sheets and quilt in the afternoon, but the new sheets had stains as well. I was surprised to see that no hotel staff followed up to check on the status of the inconvenience. I contacted customer service and told them of the unacceptable experience where they never replaced the sheets and quilt prior to my arrival before check-in. That quilt that I slept on for 2 days was full of stains, also the new sheets had stains and the toilet was dirty. The agent said that I should be receiving a call with in 48 hours. I called again after a couple of days later, since no one called in reference to my experience. Again the agent took my information and said that I should expect a call with in another 48 hours. Now it has been over 2 weeks and up to this date, I have never received a call. It simply shows how much they don't care about their guest and their experience. Cleanliness is one of the main priority for a hotel and this hotel certainly didn't care about that either. I believe that any issue or inconvenience of any guest has should be addressed with a higher priority.they never followed up or called after I had contacted customer service. Below are the pictures of what I encountered in this property. It's unacceptable! Totally not satisfied with this stay, especially after sleeping with that quilt.
The hotel is in a great location, and for what you pay is good. The A/C and heat unit in our room sounded like a rocket taking off any time it turned on, the bathroom was a little sketchy, and the room vaguely smelled like smoke. It's a fine hotel if you just need a place to sleep, but if you're looking for nice or upscale, this is not for you.
IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. To say the least. Much of the locations and rooms were great. Room service was better. All in all, a great stay
Mediocre hotel. If your looking for a cheap stay- this is your place. Nothing fancy but not disgusting. I read a lot of reviews of bed bugs but after a deep examination our bed was fine. In a good quiet area too.
The room was a total disaster. The sheets had little red blood spots on them which is typically a sign that the place is infested with bed bugs. After discovering this, my friend went to wash his hands and found that the bathroom floor was completely flooded. There was easily an inch of water in there.
We then tried to call down to the front desk to tell them about the situation but found that there was no dial tone! In the end, we got a refund and had to scramble to find an available hotel with such luxuries as a dry bathroom floor, a working phone and no insect infestation.
Unless you enjoy the thrill of finding last minute accommodation in one of the world's most expensive cities, don't waste your time with this place.
