An excellent place for all great Italian foods, sncks, confections - unbelievable and unbeatable sandwiches, homemade pastas, meats, cheese, confections. Stop in, you'll want to leave with bags of stuff - a little on pricey side - but the quality of everything sorta justifies it. Go and enjoy.

The price is on the high side, but not crazy; especially the store has an appealing gourmet look.

Nothing is overly special though, you can find similar quality and choices at Balducci at Ryebrook. In fact Balducci has so much more choices especially fresh fruits/ vegetables.

What's so special to me is the fresh pastathey look amazing.. I had to buy a little to taste.. somehow the guy at the counter was not pleasant when I told him that he packed up so quickly that I didn't even notice he did it. He kept shaking his head and made me feel bad. He did answer my question about the pasta though.

The big coffee guy was pleasant and so was the cappuccino.

Somehow the headshakibg is not motivating me to go back there.

Everything I've tried here has been really good, but the prime rib steak sandwich is particularly incredible. As a bonus, there are usually a few tasty cheese samples available. The staff is also extremely nice and the store layout is open and inviting to walk around.

Went here for some coffee and a snack and the barista that served me was extremely nice. Their food is a bit overpriced but it is good. Parking can also be tough at certain times of day.

I'm from a different part of the country so am unfamiliar with these wonderful Italian markets. In fact, I've never seen anything like it! I was astounded by the variety of pastas, cheeses, etc. The paninis were wonderful and the cheeses tart and strong. The coffee was terrific, too. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. The only reason it's not five stars is that some of the staff are a tad gruff and surly, but, hey, it's New York!

Cheese moldy two weeks before expiration date. Brought back to store and they told me I only had 3 days. Will never shop here again! Very poor customer service.

Great market with a knowledgeable staff. The homemade pasta, and the cured meats and cheese is stellar. There's sample throughout the store. The wine selection is just alright though.

On the pricey side but you're guaranteed fresh, tasty food. A plus for pastry lovers: cannoli are filled only when ordering, so the shell is never soggy.
