I'm very disappointed in the care she received. My grandmother was on the Ortho Unit 4000. First of all #1: We found the night staff was not very kind, they had a very, "I can't be bothered" attitude. #2 Her Call Light remote has been broken for 24 hours and she reported it and nothing had been done. I contacted the Unit myself to speak to the Charge and her response was a huff and "I'll see what we can do". My grandmother finally had to keep yelling into the hallway for someone to come in to assist her to the restroom (she had a broken hip). #3: She is using a commode and notified the nursing staff that it was used and requested it be removed. They left it in the room and she had to eat her lunch with that thing next to her bed. It's just horrible. We usually go to St. Joseph's Hospital but by circumstance she was taken to TMC, it will not happen again!

I have been here multiple times in the last few months due to an injury. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The doctor doesn't have a lot of time for each patient however.

I had my baby here and literally have not one complaint. Every single staff member was patient, comforting, knowledgeable and just overall pleasant to be around. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and amazing experience for the birth of my first child. Deb and Kat were who I spent the most time with and I cannot thank them and everyone else enough for all they did for me and my family!!

ALL the nurses, the patient tech, anesthesiologist, and Doctor was so caring and wonderful to my family and I. I had so much anxiety and worries before my surgery but they made me feel so relax and comfortable. Thank you so much. 👍👍

I was here twice for two surgeries. I have had 18 surgeries in different hospitals. I absolutely loved it here! I had the best doctors and nurses. They were very attentive and caring. I would definitely recommend this hospital for medical care.

Horrible experience. I am a triple amputee from iraq with2 Purple Hearts. Came in because of so many issues. My urologist was awesome and a few of the nurses. One morning i was hitting my call button and waited over 3 hours for the tech to even bring my wheelchair to within my reach. Nurse Michelle in the 800 unit then came in and said that everything was just in my head which is the same thing the VA has said for years. I recorded her giving me her personal diagnosis and shortly after the charge nurse Shannon came in with the security guards and demanded i either handed over my phone which I had used to reach out for help or delete the pictures and video in front of them. They have infringed on so many of my personal rights and i wouldn't recommend this hospital to the insurgents who blew me up. They need a serious overhaul in their staff. 1 star is being too generous.

Brought my 2 year old son in for an MRI. They were very nice to both of us and I feel very confident that he was in good hands during the MRI. However, they did not appropriately prepare me for nor care for my son afterwards. They had told me that he would be a little tipsy and grumpy for 10-15 minutes after, but I found my son screaming, thrashing about and completely unresponsive to anything I said, all very out of character for my son even at his worst. And after holding him close for a few minutes so that he didn't hurt himself, they tried to tell me that this was completely normal and that it was time for us to go. They seemed convinced that as soon as we left their presence he would start getting better. Guess what? He didn't. I ended up holding him on a chair out in the hospital for another 30 minutes as he continued alternating between arching his back in apparent pain and then sobbing into my shoulder, still not talking, not looking into my eyes, and not responding to anything that I said or offered him. I don't know if he was actually in pain or if they were more like seizures, but I was in no way prepared for this possibility and I can't believe that they pushed me OUT of the hospital, even going so far as to walk me out with my stuff to get us out of the way while my son continued to thrash, cry and moan. Eventually I put him in his car seat, and 10 minutes into the car ride he started calming down and even talking again. Apparently 10-15 minutes of grumpiness is equivalent to 40 minutes of my son being possessed and harming himself and everyone around him. If I had known that this were a possibility then I never would have agreed to it. It seems clear that they have very little understanding of how their anesthetic actually affects children and that is very worrisome.

Bad experience! I would have to say they were very nice at the gift shop after my family spend hundreds of dollars purchasing items for my newborn niece. If you got a good nurse make sure you keep her, for that may be the only one you get. They are very rude arrogant unprofessional otherwise, making rude comments not taking time and being professional to make sure that things were understood. Making comments "like don't you know how to do this" knowing my brother is a first-time father. Did not like this experience at all I would recommend going to UMC a more professional and understanding environment.

After being referred for evaluation due to extremely high blood pressure at just past 35 weeks of pregnancy, we ended up staying at TMC for almost three weeks total, after delivering our baby girl at almost 37 weeks. There were two interactions with staff that were less than stellar, but otherwise there were probably 20 other staff members that were just incredible. Caring, compassionate, and genuinely interested in mom and baby's health and welfare, in addition to providing support and information for me as dad. Also, their lactation consultation services were absolutely incredible in helping develop the skills and knowledge necessary to help ensure a positive breast-feeding relationship between mom and baby.
While a hospital birth was NOT what we had planned, the staff made it as positive, low-worry, and pain-free as possible. Thank you TMC, you truly were amazing.response / report this review -

Saw a doctor and their PA's. Great hospital and patient services access online which is very secure. If I have an issue they are so willing to help. I live 2 1/2 hrs away. Well worth it for me, even having spinal condition willing to take the drive. Very kind and caring people.

On October 11, 2016, I delivered my son. Through my time shared with TMC, I rate them a 5 star. They were very attentive, always made sure I had what I needed, made sure I was comfortable, made sure I ate! I felt like I was staying in a suite with awesome room service! They were very caring, and even offered a lactation consultant! Thank you to the TMC team for being so great to my family and I!
