Fast and efficient care. Staff was amazing with my daughter and what needed to be done to diagnose. Got here, diagnosed, and left all within 1hr 15mins.
My 9 mo son had an appointment with Dr Carroll who's a pediatric GI specialist and he was great. He worked with us in every aspect since we're having insurance changes soon and was very accommodating, he went out of his way to make sure my son will get the tests and care that he needs. He asked a lot of questions at first but once the technical part was done he actually took the time to explain everything that he was planning on doing test and treatment wise, which should be the way it is but sadly a lot of doctors just try to push you with a prescription out the door, so it was an awesome first impression. The facility is also very nice, I loved the self check in kiosk, the staff was helpful and friendly, and I must add that it was the first doctor's office I've been so far that my son walked around barefoot and his feet didn't turn filthy in 3 seconds, very clean. My overall experience was really good.
I went there to have my son's blood checked as he has anemia. The nurse said she needed to check with the insurance company because the test he needed was genetic testing and that can be pricey if not covered. She said she would reach back out. That was months ago. Since then I have reached out 3 times and even had one nurse send an email to the nurse I saw. I am a busy mom. I don't have time to call them every day! My sons dad is going in person to get some answers but honestly this is ridiculous. I will not be going there for anything ever again. Clearly they don't care about my infant son enough to even call back.
I took my grand baby here for am asthma attack they took him back right away and gave him what was necessary to kick him out of the attack, the Dr was VERY attentive and knowledgable. Unfortunately, he did have to be transferred to a children's emergency room to be admitted the staff was very reassuring and had the ambulance there quickly. They kept checking on him while we waited for the ambulance to show up. They measure in kg's and Celsius now because that's how all the dosage and records are put in but are able to give you them in lbs and farenheit if you ask. Love this place would recommend for anyone with little ones.
I took my lo here a few days ago and initially felt at easy with there being little to no wait time. After getting my LO all checked in and the front desk staff could even tell just my LO was not doing well saying “I hope you LO feels better”
Once we go in I notice a nice clean area with plenty of privacy. I immediately ask why the weight was done kg and not lb and the check-in nurse had no answer for me. The vitals nurse comes in next and I noticed that the temps are done in Celsius versus Fahrenheitso I ask her why is that and she has no answer!!! They all have these lovely pocket cheat sheets making parents have to ask for the breakdown in terms understood! That is annoying, as not ever parent knows to ask let alone will ask!
So the lovely Dr. T. McConahay comes in to look at my LO for maybe 3mins and say “common cold” I went to ask if other issues she having could have caused her to become ill but was quickly shutdown and told “now now, we are not here for those reasons” and he moved on! I was standing there dumbfounded! After waiting in the room for about 10 minutes I had to go find a nurse to ask if we could leave. ***Nurse Annie let me know she’d be on her way to discharge us and she made good on her word! If she could get the Four to Five Stars I would give it to her hands down! She was who we saw us the longest and give pretty good info! If there where 100 of her and the check-in nurse this urgent care would be a much better place!
Took my daughter here today for asthma flare up. The staff was great! So knowledgeable and caring. They were recommended by her pediatrician. Very clean clinic. No wait when we got there.
We've been coming here for the specialty care and urgent care for years. Specialty care is out of this world. Urgent care is hit or miss but overall it does what we need it to do.
This is a great place to work with your specialist. I have had only good experiences with Doctors and the nursing staff. Registration could be more professional in their services.
My son had gastric problems and had bad reflux. Zantac alone wasn't helping so my pediatrician sent me here. After 3-4 months all we got was the Zantac dose doubled and a lot of bills! We did every test which I don't regret, but we prepaid so we could get a discount since they were very expensive tests! Well, communication is not their strongest and we have had to fix this twice after they sent us bills that we already paid! The office staff is really rude, especially when you are already going through some scary times. And to even cancel an appointment I got transferred 3 times!!! Every time I called I was transferred many times and it got very frustrating! I'm thankful for the tests but my pediatrician could have doubled the dose. One test they had to do was a sample to test if he was lactose sensitive. They told me they would call in a few days. A week and a half later my pediatrician had to call and get the results! It was completely ridiculous! So if my son had a sensitivity it would have been almost two weeks until we found out! My pediatrician was so confused why they waited so long when she said the test doesn't take that long to run. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. I don't want to trust someone with my child when they can't even communicate with their staff.
This place sucks. They lie about the times. It's 8:06 and they are closed. Why is it so hard for them to change the times on the website. Wasting people's time.
Phoenix children's has THE BEST doctors!! I saw a gastroenterologist there for about 14 years! Oh but wait I turned 18 and they kicked me to the curb. Ouch. Bad memories. So yeah great doctors until you turn 18 then your out! So hard to find a new Dr when ALL my history is with PCH :(
Got in and saw the provider fast. Great treatment. Only complaint is that I was waiting over 40 minutes for someone to discharge us.
The time on their google and their website is wrong. And if they really close at 11 then they closed and locked their doors 20 mins early. Was taking my daughter their to be seen for possible walking pneumonia. They need to either fix their time or not close their doors early to sick children.
The staff was awsome and did very well with my 3 month old. The whole office was nice and clean. We were in and out within 45 minutes. that included checking in and doing paperwork, the dr seeing her and doing a suction on her nose. I will definitely come back
