First off, hats off to the amazing housekeeping staff!!! We sure gave them a run for their money with 3 adults and 2 toddlers plus extra guests getting ready for a wedding!!!! Tonya from housekeeping- you made our stay so pleasant you went above and beyond and made sure we were taken care of from little things like towels, to coming in after you had already cleaned your assigned rooms because my daughter had got sick and we needed service. Whether the room looked like we just checked in, or looking like a tornado went through you kept your positive professional attitude and gave us your 100% best.
To the ladies at the front desk- Kate and Sara. thank you for all you did for our family during our week stay. Kate- you always made sure we were good no matter how many times anyone of us came up to you during your shift and needed something or had questions you always replied with a smile and took us on head on! When my daughter was sick you coming to check on her was so thoughtful. With me coming up freaking out about holds to the account you remained calm and professional and for that i respect you. You calmed me down and explained correctly what others did not.
Sara- thank you for everything. I dont need to go into detail because you already know. I appreciate what you do. And it was great to see you after all these years ( 2nd grade??)
Angie- thank you so much for washing my daughters blankets after she got sick so that we did not have to worry about a stinky room. I greatly appreciate you and what you did. It really is the small things and even though laundry services are not apart of our stay as guests you went above and beyond for her.
I dont have anything bad to say about this hotel. Everyone was on their A game. Hats off to the staff at the Super 8 in Queensbury.
I recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay for the night after driving or if you want to get away.Rooms are great size, smell amazing, and very clean. They shampoo the carpets and will do again by request. I know we had it done twice in our 7 days of staying.
Staff was great and the room was comfortable enough however, I was slightly grossed out by the level of cleanliness within my room. Toe nails on the window sill and some sort of crumb like debris on the tv stand stood out like a sore thumb. Although the beds appeared clean with fresh linen, they were wrinkled. I maybe overthinking but I don't recall ever actually noticing wrinkled bedding in a hotel. Is this what is to expect from a 2-star hotel? You be the judge.
We stayed at this hotel 6/29 for one night. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice our room was. Check-in was a breeze. The front desk clerk was awesome and so helpful. I think her name was Kate. The breakfast was adequate. We will definitely stay here again.
Good people at the front desk. We had multiple rooms but the room service was not up to the mark. The room we came in didn't have new sheets. But somehow we liked it.
This is an excellent location if you mean to travel between Lake George and Saratoga Springs. It is a 3 star establishment, there is no fixing that, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Relatively clean, good selection at breakfast and free coffee, hot cocoa and tea all day long. I was almost tempted to push to 5 stars on the basis of the customer service they provide. It is very good.
The cons are the same as the pros: there are at least 2 restaurants within walking distance. You can hear them at night. Quick access to the 87, gas stations and stores. The parking lot is hard to see, coming from 87. It's on the left before the Taco Bell.
Addition Pro or Con - They allow pets (with a small cleaning deposit), which was my reason for check in here. If you don't like animals, its a con.
Was perfect location for my visit to Lake George . Super 8 is a excellent place to stay for comfort and relaxation.
It was very affordable and the room was clean. It conveniently located. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here when in the area again.
They charged my card three different times for the same two nights. Three different charges! $147.63, $146.63 and $146.63, for 2 nights in their smelly (literally, it smells horrible in there) hotel. No one seems to know what is going on here, so I just have to wait 2 weeks for the transaction to resolve itself. Because I don't need that $300 now. Absolutely disgusting. I will NEVER return to a Wyndham chain hotel.
Friendly staff and quiet rooms. But there was long black hair in my bed and towels. I would think that it would be a little cheaper given the small breakfast that is provided (fits about 4 parties) and is only 2 types of cereal, toast and pre-made egos.
Location is convenient, rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. Continental breakfast was varied and well stocked. Very pleased with my visit.
