We're been staying here for the past 4 years to check out the Saratoga Tattoo Expo, and it's a fantastic, simple experience every time. In a good spot in the middle of town too. Only downside is the occasional "interesting" guest you run into, but the rest makes it worth the risk.

On Wednesday I left the hotel after a 2 day stay. Two hours and many miles later I realized I had left my phone charger in my room. I contacted the front desk and was told it would be mailed out to me. I received yesterday, 2 days later. I can not tell you how much I appreciate the speed in which it was sent. Not to mention how nice everyone is when I am staying there; which is regularly.

Highly recommended for the "downtown" experience. And they have a year round indoor swimming pool! Great people.

I love the location of the Downtowner, love the people who,run and work there. It's super clean. It may be dated but that is part of it's charm. The beds are comfortable and the added delight of a pool is remarkable. Just jazzy cool!

I love your hotel, especially for the convenience of being right in the thick of things on Broadway! The staff is TERRIFIC and though not super luxurious--and who needs to pay those kind of prices anyway--my room was very clean and comfortable and as a female traveling alone, I felt very safe. Thank you!

We love to stay at the Downtowner because we get to look out at all the action on Broadway from our balcony room. The breakfast foods that are provided were appreciated especially the chocolate biscotti with our coffee! The hotel is close to all of the restaurants and shopping and we like to stay there during "track" season. We loved our king size bed and how comfortable it felt; also loved having a fridge in the room to store our beverages. We will return !

Love the central location; we didn't move our car for two days because we could walk to a large variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Room service was quick and proficient. Staff, in general, very affable. We will be back, though perhaps not during race season, which is not the reason we came to Saratoga; came for all the other venues.

Very clean room with a cool view of the town. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking is easily accessible. And the location is perfect! It's nice to be able to walk wherever you'd like to go.

Very very nice gentleman behind the counter. I watched "Doug" help an elderly woman back to a room to wait for her ride as she was falling asleep waiting in the lobby. Very patient and kind man.

The Downtowner is perfect for having a wonderful experience during the Dance Flurry; I love staying there every year; the early morning breakfast is just enough if you're not really hungry, the beds are marvelously comfortable and the rooms are clean and quiet. A good night's sleep is essential after dancing all day and into the night!!

This motel is in a perfect location, only steps away from wonderful shops, restaurants and entertainment. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was too busy to use the indoor pool, but at some point I want to bring my grandchildren and they will love it.

A quaint hotel with some unique designs and layout. This is in a great location right downtown. They have a year-round heated indoor pool that is a nice addition. It closes early though because it is in the indoor courtyard with the rooms surrounding it.

This hotel is by no means luxurious or high end. It is however comfortable, clean and the staff is very friendly. Our room felt like a cross between an apartment and a dorm room, but it was spacious and comfortable. It's well priced and very conveniently located.
