Very friendly staff and super clean premises. The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Will be coming back next fall for sure. Three nights and four days with two young kids, we have all praises and no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend this place.

Our air conditioner didn't work, it was either full blast or off. The microwave-forget it. The shower wouldn't drain and someone had tied a piece of wire around it to try to hold it down. The sink wouldn't drain either. I don't recommend unless your in dire neeed. We also paid WAY over reasonable price for the room, because it was during the festival. Parking is very very limited. No discount was given and we checked out early because we couldn't stay there any longer. Owner not really concerned, no elevator to the 2nd floor.

A no frills hotel, but inexpensive. No elevator to the second floor and I use a cane. No ice machine on our level, so had to do the stairs Again. Room was adequate, as was the Continental breakfast included waffle maker. The managers were pleasant.

It was easy to get to, right off the highway. The rooms and service were standard for the price. It was a little outdated but very clean. Overall we had a great stay.

Nicely located 45 minutes north of Asheville. I found it to be about 25-30$ less expensive than staying in Asheville. The room was clean and quiet, no complaints in regards to service. The morning breakfast was a nice offer. Would stay again.

AT hiker and would not stay here again. I would have rather slept in my tent than stay here again. Nothing good to say other than the outside of the building looks nice. The inside rooms where dirty, sheets where not clean, rugs filthy. It look like they didn't even clean the sheet, just remade the bed.

Advertised &59.99 but charged us $91.00 for our room (hiker rate). Extremely overpriced for what it had to offer. The owner is a total dick (we had a bad experience with him but then also other hotel guests actually stopped me in the hallway to complain about him and ask me if my experience was as bad as theirs!) Noisey hiker guests had a shirts-off bender outside the lawn of my hotel window which lasted from morning till about midnight. Weak wifi only works in the lobby. Lights & water didn't run well in the room. Lot of highway noise. Also, advertises "laundry facility" as a selling factor for the room but it's a coin laundry, not free. The only redeeming factor of this hotel is it's waffle maker at breakfast. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone, ever. Stay in Johnson City. More options there.

Great prices, friendly staff, and comfortable beds! Rooms have small refrigerators and microwaves. Smoking and non- smoking rooms available. Very easy access off and on the interstate.
