The Super 8 was a great place to stay. The hotel is close to Beech Mountain. It was easy to unload our Jeep in the back entry. We enjoyed the breakfast and hot tea. Our evening was thoroughly enjoyed when we had wonderful barbeque and ribs in Boone at The Pedalin' Pig!
The Super 8 in Boone was really nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with a nice setting and variety. The holiday decorations were great, especially the very tall tree. We really enjoyed our stay. Easy to find. Comfy to stay in.
Super 8 Boone was a nice surprise. They are rated as a 2Star hotel but the level of service operation was higher that that. Small details such as a welcome note from the HK staff upon our arrival, the front desk greeting my family by name every morning, and complimentary snacks are on par with my stay at 3-4 hotels.
Best all around budget hotel. Everything from the front desk to the breakfast and housekeeping has been top notch. We will definitely stay here again!
at first i was skeptical about super 8 due to some reviews but after staying here my outlook completely changed. Super 8 staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the shower was super hot. Pool area is nice as well for the kids. Super 8 is also very conveniently located, we had no problem finding gas, food stores, restaurants and even walmart all close by. I will definitely come back and stay here again in the future!
Good hotel with decent facilities. The rooms were neat and clean. However the refrigerator in our room wasn't working and our food got spoilt.
Friendly staff, beautiful rooms that were spotless, plenty of parking and the beds are extremely comfortable. Felt safe anywhere on the property. It's on a semi busy road but that never bothered us.
Stayed here for 3 days and it was great. I'm disabled and the room served my needs perfectly. Will be staying here when on Boone again.
Everything was great. Excellent location. Great and friendly staff. Free parking and breakfast. Pool area nice. Clean room. For the price I would definitely stay there again.
Stayed 08/01/17-08/02/17. Was great! Pool closed early the night we checked in so we didn't get to use it, but it looked nice and very clean. Staff at desk was superb! Our room wasn't ready-they had had over 90 guests the night before, so this is understandable! They offered us coffee and cookies while we waited or to call us when room ready, if we wanted to go do something. Even called us after check in, to make sure room was ok/to our liking! Smoking room was good with plenty of TV channels to watch and tub/shower good, nice decor/furniture/furnishings, plenty of towels!!!!, fridge, coffee pot, microwave, etc. There was construction/painting/etc. going on, on our floor, but they did not make any noise real late or very early-weren't very noisy at all, actually! Breakfast was great with very nice sitting areas. They had coffee, juices, bagels, toast, make your own waffles, sausage on biscuit, fresh fruits, yogurts, muffins, cereals, oatmeal, great selection! We left satisfied, instead of like most places, where you leave looking for someplace to actually get breakfast!! We were in area to visit family, and this will be our go to place in the future, for visits!
We reserved an accessible queen room. Apparently this Super 8 isn't familiar with the needs of a person who uses a wheelchair, because the bathtub is taller than usual, making it very difficult to get in. There was a fixed shower head rather than a removable one, despite the fact that there was a holder for it. To their credit, they did change it when we asked. There also was no shower chair in the room. Luckily I brought my own. The ceiling above the shower was in lousy shape (see pic). The water temperature in the shower was very finicky. It jumped constantly from ice cold to lava. It was very difficult to get it to stay somewhere between the two. The room itself was acceptable except for there being only one available outlet on the wall opposite the bed. The bed was okay, but a bit too soft for our tastes. The AC worked almost TOO well. The microwave was very basic, with a dial instead of a keypad, and it was loud, but it did the job. The fridge was handy. Breakfast was rather puny, with tiny little pre-packaged sausage biscuits and muffins about the size of a golf ball, but it held us over until we could get something better. The motel was pretty much full the whole 5 days we were here, and the place was often noisy. The walls were paper-thin. The people in the next room tried to open the connecting door between our rooms. Thank goodness the chain was latched. My husband said he locked the deadbolt, but somehow it wasn't locked when this happened. Hmmm. He later saw the people, and they appeared to be riff-raff, if you know what I mean. We felt secure here until this happened. Hopefully there will be no more problems. Another thing I should mention is that housekeeping failed to clean our room today. The trash is overflowing, and we're short on towels. My husband told the front desk, and they made a note of it, but could only offer us two hand towels. Gee, that's helpful. (Yes, we left a tip for the housekeeper but I guess s/he didn't want the money today.) Also the pool area's ceiling looks dilapidated. The pool itself looked okay, but we didn't use it. In summary, it's unlikely we'll stay here again.
Loved it! I was a bit skeptical at first when I saw that we were staying at a Super 8, but this was just as nice as any other hotel. The staff went above and beyond and breakfast was nice. Simple breakfast: no eggs, bacon or fruit, but they have waffles, bagels, yogurt and oatmeal.
They're currently renovating but they're doing a great job of still making you feel comfortable. Although the pool is also under construction you can go up to the La Quinta, which they'll call an Uber for you. We stay at this particular hotel serval days every year and they're always really nice and accommodating.
I always love every visit to Super 8. The staff is nice, and the rooms are affordable.
We enjoyed the breakfast but the pool heater didn't work and we were promised they would fix it but that never happened. We had a total of five kids with us that was very disappointed as it was the winter months and we picked this hotel for its indoor pool area.
