Gustie at the front desk was very friendly and professional. She went above and beyond during my check in and gave great restaurant referrals in the area. I would definitely recommend WoodSpring in Johnsons City. Great service, clean rooms, and the best weekly rates.

Asthmatics beware!
This hotel looks great online. Great price. It’s advertised as smoke free. Website says free WiFi. I thought it was going to be perfect.
When I arrived I was greeted by a receptionist who smelled like cigarette smoke. I assumed, hoped rather, that the smell was simply from her and would not continue through the building. Unfortunately I soon discovered, after they had charged my card for the week long stay of course, that the entire building reeks of cigarette smoke. Every time the air conditioner came on there was a new surge of stink. Every time the fan in the bathroom was turned on there was a new wave of fumes. (The bathroom light is connected to the fan so when you need light to do you make up you have to breathe in the fumes.) And before you think I should have just switched rooms, I walked the halls of every floor to see if the smell was any better and the whole building smells the same.
In addition to the false advertising about the smoking, the WiFi is pathetic. The so called free WiFi that is available does nothing. In order to get WiFi that is able to stream video you must pay approximately $7 a week, and that’s just for one device. In order to be able to stream video on up to three devices you must pay approximately $14 per week.
Luckily I was able to find a different hotel for my next stay, which will be much longer. It will cost more but it’s better than getting lung cancer.
Only stay here if you are a smoker and/or absolutely cannot afford to stay anywhere else.response / report this review -

We spent 2 nights here for the Bristol night race weekend. Very clean upon arrival however our room was not cleaned after our first nights stay. No fresh towels, trash not emptied, no coffeemaker, no hairdryer, no guest shampoo or conditioner and the stench of marijuana being smoked greeted us at the check in office after we returned one evening which was a little unsettling. One tiny little bar of soap and cable tv were the only amenities offered.

The monthly rate is perfect for a young couple just moving to the area, no lease or commitment and for a reasonable price you get all utilities and a room that is more than adequate for two people. The double rooms would even work for a small family just getting into the area as well. There is a full sized fridge, two burner stove top, microwave, free wifi, etc. The laundry is not as overpriced as it is at many extended stay motels and this place also has smoking rooms which is great for smokers because most extended stays don't have that. They are all located on the top level of the building so non smokers have nothing to worry about either. My only complaint is the non refundable $200 pet deposit which forced me to leave my kitten at my mother in laws house. I think they should base the deposit on the type of pet because there is a big difference between the damage a kitten can do compared to a big dog. If it weren't for that we would probably stay at least six months but we will be searching for a new place in the next two months so I can bring my baby cat home.

This was the worst motel I've ever stayed at! The manager goes through your trash and I didn't even stay as long as I was supposed to and they wouldn't give me a refund for the day's I didn't stay this motel is money hungry and the manger is rude I payed $859 for a month and I've got nothing but bad attitudes DO NOT STAY HERE

Great location. Just checking on monthly rates and availability. Prices are reasonable but different than what was posted online. Staff was very friendly though and the property seemed to be clean and well maintained.
