The location is good in Boone. But when arriving to the hotel, the heat was not working. They moved us to another room. But the water in the shower would not cut off. It is a old place and nothing has been updated. This was just OK to place your head down. I would not recommend it.

Room was horrible. Could not run ac because of smell. Bed/pillow flat. Flimsy door locks we felt unsafe. Booked two nights left after one.
    Never again.

It was pretty nice. We we're staying in the front rooms that was basically just a motel. No cabin. It was well air conditioned and everything was clean when we got there. There was a small burn mark on the blanket, the toilet flushed very slowly, only hand/body soap was provided. No shampoo or anything else. The biggest discrepancy I had was the price. For the same 72 dollars I could've gone to a much better motel right down the road. Other than that it was not bad.

Room was not as quiet as expected, Entrance Road needs much repair. For $140. a night a/c unit could better quality.

Our trip was wonderful. Our stay was decent for a last minute booking. We can't wait to get back to the area!!! Check online for realistic photos, so you know what you're getting. The images on the website can be a little misleading. We stayed in one of the Weekender Cottages. For a family of 6, it was really the only choice. The pull-out sofa blocks the door, though. The front desk was very responsive to our needs. We had a problem with the shower, but they came over within 5 minutes to fix it. The microwave gave us a problem, but they fixed that quickly, also. There was a sign posted in the kitchen area stating that we'd be charged if we didn't wash the dishes before checking out. Unfortunately, it was obvious that they did not verify that the previous visitors had washed them, because they were put away greasy and we had to rewash them. Due to our late booking, we ended up with the cottage furthest from the road and closest to the go-cart track next door. Remarkably, with the door closed, the go-carts weren't an inconvenience. It was a bit too loud to sit on the front porch and have a conversation, however. Additionally, parking was difficult. They definitely expected only 1 car per cottage and there were 5 vehicles (2 full-size pickups, 1 SUV, 1 minivan, & 1 car) for 4 cottages and parking arrangements were a challenge.

Shower flow was so low, we had difficulty washing hair. Burn holes and stains in carpet. Light for kitchenette burned it's cover! Porch slates were too wide for safety. You would not want to allow your child or small dog on the balcony. View overlooked busy road. Toilet did not flush well-ew. At least the bed was cozy.

No one told me the door locks behind me so I got locked out the cabin at 2 am. The bed wasnt soft and the sheets were itchy. The view was nice but I couldnt wash my face with the towels with out being charged an extra 25$. We did see a deer though, so that was cool. And a privacy curtain was broken.

Great place. Clean room. Fair price. Fairly quiet inside in spite of the traffic out front. Nice to park our bikes right outside the room.

Rented a cabin in late fall of the year. Location is off busy road two miles or so from center of town. Gas fireplace was nice. Insufficient night lighting to read anything not on a screen. Mercury vapor street light outside bedroom window cast a bright orange glow through the curtain all night. Only two spoons in kitchen, and one was a table spoon; no paper towels, no glasses. Furniture, towels and bedding heavily worn, mattress thin. Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate needs whenever possible.
