Nasty place to stay. I am currently here and don't have the time to switch places due to work. I would rather sleep in my car. So far i have found 11 cockroaches in my room. They are all over my stuff. My skin is crawling. Also the internet cuts out every few minutes and everything is dirty and worn. Smells like pot in the hallways. Don't know how i am going to sleep tonight. I expected dirty and worn for the price.but i didn't pay for roaches! The elevators were broke when i went to unload the car and had to lug 6 cases up 4 flights alone. There is no way i am going to take advantage of the free breakfastnot if i have to share it with the roaches.
It's a cheap hotel. So with that being said yes you might see a cockroach or 2 crawling around. If you are sleeping a budget and that doesnt bother you then thats cool. The staff was nice tho. Probably wouldn't get in the pool either.
The receptionist was among the rudest persons I've seen in my life! She was disrespectful from the beginning. She gave us keys which were not working, then she changed them without apologies. They didn't work, too. Again, no apologies; just sent us to another room. We were shocked to see the room was not cleaned: there were bottles of beer everywhere and and when we complained, she said "get out of here"!!! She didn't even want to return our money x(
This place really isn't bad for what you pay. The rooms offer all the basic amenities you'd expect. They give you a small breakfast every morning and the staff are all pretty helpful and friendly. Located right off I-35 and 183 the location is pretty convenient too. My recommendation would be to get a room away from the freeway if you plan on opening your window for fresh air.
5 star reception, women were wonderfully friendly, welcoming, & helpful. I have stayed in more expensive places with very solemn, unfriendly receptionists that just make you feel like you're bothering them, I literally dreaded having to go talk to them. Friendly reception makes such a difference. They supply lots of towels in the room which is great, can never have too many towels. The bathroom floors looked nice & new. The bathtub looked good & clean. I did love how the windows open all the way, and the windows were very large👍👍so lots of fresh air. I do not like cigarette smell however, really need to ban cigarettes/cigars on the entire property. I forgot to book at a "smoke-free" place. The price was very good, and receptionists were very nice.
Not too bad. Right near the highway, 4 smaller size pillows, bed is not terrible, smells cleaner than most hotels, good place to stay all in all.
The rooms were gross and smelled. There was always people hanging out and as a woman alone I did not feel comfortable with the guys out smoking by the pool. The breakfast bar was sad and understocked at best. Not for the lack of the staff trying. It was just too small to stay stocked. The only good thing were the staff were always super friendly.
In 4 month difference service changed dramatically and not a place I would stay again. Service 4 months ago was great and great help, but now it is down to 1 star. Funny how short it can change. Out of 200+ hotels I've stayed never had a problem with service and all hotels except for some have been Wyndham hotels. Also goes against what their key elements on what is accepted.
This place needs work! The workers were nice, but the rooms need work It smelled weird, was really hot our bedding and things felt wet because it's was so hot in the room. It didn't seem very clean either! It's was okay because we weren't in the room that much but it's not great if you are going to be there a lot.
My family and I needed a hotel for the night to flee hurricane harvey. Unfortunately the only room available for Thursday night was a single queen so I booked it. I had 4 adults and 1 child. I explained the situation to Susan at the front desk and she went above and beyond out of her way to help my family in need. She upgraded our room and allowed us to check in very late due to traffic. She was incredibly nice and professional. She was our life saver and I will never forget her willingness to accommodate us. I will truly never forget her kindness.
Nice people. Welcoming. Grate food. Clean and quiet! I'd recommend them.
My stay here on 4/29/17 was great! Very clean room, super sweet woman at the front desk. She was dealing with a customer before me and still manage to greet everyone that walked in and let them know she would be right with them. Also when she got to me which was maybe a 2 minute wait, not long at all. She apologized for the wait and was very helpful. This will be my go to hotel now when I stay in Austin, TX!!
Did a last minute reservation since the hotel we had originally booked was absolutely disgusting. Service was phenomenal! Rooms are clean. Beds are very cozy. Will be coming back to this location!
This is a nice place to spend a night. Larry is very warm and welcoming. We hatd some trouble checking in but he took care of it all. I'd say go there and look for Larry!
I've stayed here 4 years in a row for a music festival I go to every year. I don't know if they're under new management but this place has really gone downhill. Not the nicest area but its conveniently located right off the highway. Got there and my room was dirty but the staff easily switched my room for me. Not as crappy, but still crappy. The breakfast in the morning was good, just wish it didn't end so early. I will most likely find a new hotel to stay at next year but if you're looking for a quick night or two in Austin for cheap, this place does alright.
