The hotel is old and out dated. It is also not in a very good neighborhood with few restaurant options. The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly though. I would probably stay somewhere else next time I come to Austin.
The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and modern looking with wood panel closets. checkout time is noon (many places want to kick you out at 11). Breakfast was good, and on a Monday not too busy.
Nice hotel in North Austin, but it's still really close to Downtown Austin. Staff were really friendly and professional, Karla was really helpful with helping us find our way around Austin. Lots of restaurant and bars in the area also. Rooms are good and the free breakfast is great.
The hotel is a little older but the room was nice. The star of the site however was the great staff. Damanda checked me in even though I was early and their team expedited the cleaning so I could get into a room before heading off to my conference. Becky and the afternoon staff were equally as friendly and helpful. The staff from the front to the housekeeping all had such positive attitudes and seemed happy to be there. The expecience was wonderful.
Very nice! Everyone is so nice!
Becky one of check in folks was do very kind and helpful to us . My husband had a heart test at St.David's Hospital (Another awesome place)
The receptionist at the hospital tried to get us a can back to our hotel without success.
I called and spoke with Becky just to make sure the cab had not shown up there.
She checked and found it had not so she called for us and we had a cab within 5 minutes.
God bless Becky she is special!
Terribly flat pillows. Hallways stink but the room was surprisingly clean. Breakfast was free, but you get what you pay for.
The staff is friendly. My room is fairly small, but the bed and pillows are comfortable. The room was also in great condition when I entered.
Will NOT be staying here again. We left a large turquoise portable phone charger, quite noticeable, plugged into outlets on the nightstand. Shame on me, forgot it, spoke with them twice, they said it wasn't left. Giving a 1 star rating, as 0 is not an option, have to rate before this will post.
Very clean hotel. Breakfast was good every morning. The girl who works in the afternoon is awesome. I had a small problem with my reservation and she took care of everything. My only complaint is that the pool is tucked away and doesn't have a lot of sun. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in Austin.
I had the best night's sleep in two weeks. I live in Killeen, but needed to get away before school starts. This hotel and location was perfect. No complaints!!!
Front desk was fantastic. There was surprisingly no refrigerator in our room. We got the room to not pay parking and be close to 6th. We should have got a Hampton near 6th because we ended up paying $15 anyway for parking.
Good, clean, helpful staff, little bars of soap. Exactly what you should expect from a Hampton Inn. Nothing out of the ordinary worth notating for me. Glad we stayed here for the night.
Good breakfast. Clean linens. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Hotel feels a little dated, but otherwise is fine. Friendly staff. Acceptable but unremarkable free breakfast. One of the two elevators takes a long time to open the doors when going down to the first floor (ok, maybe it's just 5 seconds, but it's long enough to be annoying.)
This was a horrible experience, especially for a Hampton Inn. I made the reservation at this hotel because it was within a mile from my destination. I drove over 13 hours with my young daughters and arrived after 9PM. They called just before I got there to confirm that I was still coming and when I checked in they had to find me a room. They were apparently over booked and said that if anyone else came they would have to send them elsewhere. We were given our room keys and upon entering the room there was a large (the size of my thumb) cockroach wiggling on it's back (like it had just been sprayed) in the middle of the bathroom floor. We threw out luggage on the bed and called the desk. Staff just came in and picked it up and left. We slept with the lights on the rest of the night. The floors were damp and sticky so we had to wear our shoes except in bed. Also, they recommended a pizza place for delivery since we were hungry and it was after 9. The restaurant took over an hour to deliver and the food was horrible. (Not the hotels fault but they clearly should not be recommending that restaurant.) When we checked out the next morning, the desk personnel was barely cordial. It was the worst experience at a Hampton Inn I've ever had.
