Just brought in our 2014 Kia Sorrento for front brake pads, and to check on a few other items, Sunset Kia of Sarasota has always been an outstanding service department for are Kia, staff is knowledgeable and very courteous, work is performed in a timely manner, can't say enough about this crew !!
I went to this place to look for my first car. Omar was very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. He gave me a very great, affordable deal on a brand new 2018 Kia Soul, which I am loving right now. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new or first car.
After being absorbed in the manic confusion and misinformation of other dealerships while shopping for a new car over the past months, I felt suddenly secure and "in the right hands" when I entered the Kia dealership. From the non-aggressive approach when I first walked in to the calm, honest help from the manager to the amazing help and care of my salesman, Joe Mazzola , I left that same day with the perfect car at the perfect price. If you are looking for service reminiscent of the old days and a product that comes with a price tag with no conditions attached, I recommend Sunset Kia in Sarasota Florida and herewith submit my rave review.
After being told by another dealer that the vehicle we wanted was not to be found in Florida, these folks produced exactly what we were looking for on the spot! They were friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable and beat the other guy’s deal by thousands of dollars. Don’t come here if you want a “free” trip to Mexico or a flat screen TV, but if you want professional service and a great price on a KIA, this is the place to come! We are very happy with our new Optima, the folks we interfaced with, and this dealership!
Having an appointment is useless, they cannot diagnose a car properly. If you do decide to have them work on your vehicle they will reschedule for the following week. James the service advisor was totally useless and the rest of the staff could not comprehend how multiple issues were related to one problem. I bought the part from the other Kia dealership and fixed the issue myself.
Inquired about purchasing a vehicle with this dealership. I told Mr. Antony McCatty I was working with other dealerships and what they were offering.
This guy was extremely pushy, bad mouth the other dealership offers and was kind of disrespectful. He should not be the internet sales guy.
I got my car at a lower price that he could offer and using my own bank pre-approval.
I give 2 stars because at least he tried.
Ken burger was a joy to work with. He is honest, knowledgeable, efficient and didn’t waste our time. Our visit wasn’t your typical car dealership experience. From Ken to the sales managers, everyone was great. I highly recommend going to this dealership if considering a kia.
Very friendly location. Sales associates do not hassle you and are willing to negotiate honestly and come down close to dealer cost. Purchased a 2017 Kia Soul and would definitely come back.

My visits for service have always been pleasant. Meeting an interested service manager is important. The former service manager, Jack, always did a nice job. The new service manager I met on my last visit, Josh, continued on with a great job ,too.

I brought my car in for service and I have never had better experience anywhere. I usually put this
CHORE off for as long as possible, but the service dept. personnel made it a pleasant visit. The
service writer listened to me and then explained what needed to be doneso well that I actually
understood! When an issue came up about whether or not some of the work was covered under
warranty he called the service manager over, who handled the matter quickly ( and much to my
delight, in my favor). The service manager was was extremely polite, as was the writer, who was,
I think, the assistant manager. As a matter of fact, everyone I encountered in the service dept.
that day were pleasant and attentive..and these days good service is EXTREMELY rare! Which
Is why I took the time to write this, to give credit where credit is due. SUNSET KIA IS WELL
DESERVING OF 5 STARS IN MY BOOK !!!!
