They gave me a great deal on a brand new 2013 sprinter few years back. I got hit from behind the van was totaled last September the insurance company wanted to give me $26,000 it only had 38000 miles.. I'd like another one but I can't really afford to pay full price maybe they'll reach out to me and offer me dealer cost to make me whole again.
My service advisor is great. The service on the other hand less than great. I was made to feel unappreciated and unwanted. Sadly when I pick up my vehicle today it will be my last visit to this dealer. The straw that broke the camels back was after getting a ridiculous loaner vehicle that I can even comfortably fit in I took it back. Waited on the shuttle to take me to rent a car (at my expense), then they had to get gas for the shuttle, then I was asked by the shuttle driver was I in a hurry because another customer had to get to their destination. I made it easy and ordered a Lyft. Again at my cost. It seems as though they don’t want me as a customer here. I have no problem going to MB in Fort Myers as it’s the same distance from me as MB in Sarasota is. Already scheduled my vehicle for service there. I guess I’ll give them the $1300 for service on my car there.
I am on my third MB, none of which I purchased from MB of Sarasota. The 3 times I have shopped a car there my experience has been unsatisfactory. The sales people have limited product knowledge and generally don't listen. Its a visually attractive dealership but that does not make up for the lack of customer service. Generally the service department is well run and reliable. I had a much better experience at Fields Motors in Lakeland. I worked directly with the sales manager and we were able to close a deal on the phone in about 30 min and when I picked up the car it was as easy as sign and drive.
They were ready for my car at the appointed time. Very professional and polite. Did the repairs I asked. I had also asked them to check on other issues for a future repair. They did this, gave me the report, no pressure. Waiting room was clean, coffee and other drinks were provided, they even has cookies! i was so pleased that the cost was less than I expected!
Its hard to describe how great the whole experience was. I was treated like I was buying a $60,000.00 Mercedes not a used Cadillac under $10k. The car is in perfect condition given its age. They negotiated on the price and when I found something wrong with it (who checks to see if the heat works in Florida?) they were quick to fix it, no questions asked. They even gave me a new Mercedes as a loaner. I love the unique feel of this 07 CTS! If I need a car again I'll definitely check your inventory first!
The service advisor, Jason Lewis did an excellent job in explaining the service options and required items to stay within warranty guidelines. Then he went above the call of duty with helping explain some difficult areas of the electronics & navigation. Highly recommend Jason and the Mercedes dealership
I took my E350 in for a routine service plus a minor problem. The work was completed promptly and to my satisfaction. My service advisor,Jim Foulkrod was knowledgeable and professional.
As with most Mercedes-Benz dealerships, you can drive away after a service confident that your vehicle has been thoroughly checked and is safe. Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota is no exception and they give me that confidence.
They really take the problems out of having your car serviced. Straightforward scheduling, online reminders, loaner cars are all provided. The service representatives are competent and handle the service appointment smoothly - about as good as this sort of thing gets. The outstanding customer lounge with TV, cookies and coffee is noteworthy as well.
I am a long-time Mercedes owner (during the past 15 years I have purchased 7 MB vehicles either for myself or my wife).. Having moved to the Sun Coast, almost two years ago, rest assured I will no longer be purchasing Mercedes products. This local dealership is owned by Auto Nation and their customer service is horrendous! They never fail to find something unexpected wrong with my vehicles (which have less than 25,000 miles on them and are less than 3 years old). Their system of assigning each customer a specific service represenatative means if your rep is at lunch you must wait until he /she returns to pick up your vehicle or or to have a question answered. If your rep is not available you have to wait until he/she is available to even make an appointment (sometimes several days).
I'm not a demanding customer. I just want to be treated as a customer that is at least somewhat valued. Unfortunately, MB of Sarasota employees have taught me to not sign any paperwork without reading carefully. As an example, after discussing a simple oil change I was given paperwork to sign which authorized work that had not been discussedbut oh my!I signed off on it and was given a bill that was in no way anticipated. I will be replacing my vehicles as they come off warranty and going with another manufacturer.provided they are not owned by Auto Nation, Mercedes Benz of Sarasota's owner.. As much as I have loved Benz productsputting up with a this type of service is not worth it.
Pleasant, professional my service Representative Randi was excellent and most helpful. Only reason for not given a 5 star rating is lack of loaner vehicle even though appointment was made for warranty work. I live 40+ miles away and parts needed to be ordered and it took longer than expected to receive them.(3 days without vehicle) However, they did provide a timely shuttle service which had professional, timely drivers.
I would recommend this service department and dealership.
What a great experience. It was my first time buying a Mercedes and what an exceptional experience I had!!! Alfredo was my sales member and he came highly referred to me. He made the process so easy and and I didn't feel pressured at all! He worked with me to find the car I was looking for and he did an AMAZING JOB! you have a great member working for Mercedes of Sarasota! I highly recommend anyone looking for a car to go see Alfredo!
Our service manager, Jim, was excellent. Prompt, courteous service, calling with report as promised. Had loaner lined up. Service itself done well, and the car was return nice and clean.
The only detractor of the day was the fellow at the Loaner desk..didn't seem happy, slow moving, wasn't phased by the long line..
Everything about Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota was enjoyable. First and foremost, the property is beautiful! You feel important just walking into that building. Second, the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, from the receptionist to the sales consultants. I strongly suggest visiting this property if you are in the market for a new car, I also suggest speaking with Victor. We had to have my car shipped in from out-of-state and he regularly updated me on it's progress and took the initiative to do these things himself. Very professional and dedicated to his guests. The most telling fact is that I didn't even buy a Mercedes, and I was still treated extremely well. Overall, five stars is not enough.
Great car purchasing experience. Although we weren't buying a Mercedes, we were treated as if we were. We worked with Brian and Alan and they were great. Every other employee we encountered was very nice. I would definitely recommend this dealership.
I took in my car to the service department in Sarasota as I was receiving a red light showing low tire pressure on the right passenger side.
I explained the issue to Jim Foulkrod and explained to him that I need the tire checked and fixed quickly as I had a number of meetings to go to.
Jim was understanding and very helpful. The mechanic found a nail and fixed the tire, and was able to complete the work within one hour.
I was very pleased with the professionalism and support I received from Jim and the service department of Mercedes, Sarasota.
