Awesome visitor center, the only complain that I have is that you have to pay for the Junior Ranger book. The place is clean and modern, the Rangers and staff know their stuff about the park, a great way to set you up for the Smokies.

Discouraged to find a designated free speech zone at a national park. The constitution guarantees free speech. It is not limited to specified areas, it applies to the whole of the nation. Extremely disappointed.

Very helpful to start your trip. They can tell about every trail (how to get there, how hard it will be, incline, how busy it will be, etc.). Very friendly people. Small gift shop with some nice things too. There's a little museum with plants and animals of the area that's interesting and informative.

Very nice and busy visitors center. Was able to get some very good information for our activities. Which I had visited earlier. They have a little area that you could tour to see plants and animals of the area which was very nice. People were very helpful and friendly.

It's really a great place to start your journey in smokes and you will be good hands of experienced rangers to have the travel information . The museum is great with a small but good gift shop.

My mom and I came to hike a small trail at the Sugarlands Visitor Center and we had a lot of fun. It's a truly beautiful place, I look forward to coming back again.

Great stop before heading into GSMNP. This location has a great staff representing park and the towns. They will find the information you are looking for. Also - has a gift shop with some great items. This visitors center has a museum that is free to enter - with many exhibits. and even a theatre.

There are several hilking trails that start at the visitors center. Caderack falls trail is really short .5 miles and with the added bonus of there being a waterfall. Check it out!
