Had a wonderful nights rest after a week in Pigeon Forge, and a ride on the Polar EXPRESS. E Eeyore was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely e back for a longer stay!! Merry Christmas All
It was a decent stay, a lot of spiders and silverfish in and around the room, but given the location and time of year it was understandable. Comfy pillows and nice little breakfast.
One beautiful place to stay when you are in Cherokee. Very beautiful rooms, awesome breakfast and amennities. An awesome river view scenery from the room balcony. I will return and highly suggest you check it out
Best place to stay in Cherokee for the price!
Always quiet. Rooms are a nice size w the back door opening up for a view of the river.
A very nice place to stay. We love it. Its a very nice place to unwind. Clean and comfortable beds. The private balcony overlooking the river is so nice and peaceful. The rooms are always clean and in order. The check in is quick and easy. We love our stay here.
If you are visiting Cherokee for a "baecation" make sure to get the King Suite with Jacuzzi Tub it's THE BEST!!! The pictures you see on here is exactly what you get VERY nice. I was on the second floor so I did have a River view which was PERFECT! I cannot complain about anything the customer service was OUTSTANDING (I am a person of color so I was a bit nervous about the type of service I would get). the check-in process was easy as 1-2-3. The breakfast was GREAT Waffles, Sausage, Eggs, Yogurt, Cereal etc. You can sit on the deck looking out at the River while eating breakfast. Thank you again Rodeway Inn & Suites I will be back!
Loves it. The view of the river and the balcony were great!! Aside from the bugs from the doors being left open I had no complaints. I will definitely book here again. Great for couples!!
Not the worst of the horrible hotels I've stayed at, but it's up there. They claim to have river views, maybe for the top floor, but for the bottom you're lucky to see a sliver of it through the overgrown plants. It's clearly an old hotel: the walls are paper thin, spots on carpet, little tears in the wall paper. When we walked in the place had a mildew smell. It's very humid in the room, bugs outside, and some inside. We decided that we'd switch to another location for the second night, but they'd charged us ahead of time. That's not standard. There are better places in Cherokee for only a few dollars more. Go there.
Rooms were spacious with separate sitting area. Beautiful creek view out back window. No noise issues. Extra sink outside bathroom was helpful. Good price as well.
I didn't stay in one of the rooms facing the river with its own balcony but wish I had. Instead we stayed in suite 100 with a king sized bed, high ceilings, jetted tub, refrigerator and the usual amenities provided by a hotel. We were able to park right in front of the door to our suite as well. Free breakfast in the morning was good but the best part was sitting on the deck overlooking the river while eating. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.
We stayed here on our way out of the mountains heading to the beach on spring break. The hotel was nice and clean View of the river was the best feature. Otherwise, a typical hotel stay.
However, in the rush of the morning, our son left his prized teddy bear somewhere in the room. We did a "sweep" of the room before we left, so we assume it was tangled up in the sheets. We discovered that he was missing that night after getting to the beach about 8 hours away. Ugh!
After some internet searching for the phone number to the front desk and not the 1-800 reservations line, we found out that his beloved teddy was there at the desk. Whew!
What makes this review worth writing is what they did for us. They mailed teddy to our home in Ohio for us. They also included a 8-page pamphlet of the adventures that teddy had while at the hotel! So CUTE! My son has read it about a thousand times since returning from our trip.
I would HIGHLY recommend to stay here. The over-the-call-of-duty that they showed for a simple teddy bear was enough for me to have a return visit to stay here and recommend to others to do the same.
Good on you Rodeway!!
