A great place to shop for that special gift for the musically inclined. Steve knows his stuff and will guide you to the highest quality product in the price and age range you are looking for. I started buying instruments and supplies from Steve when my daughter started drumming at age nine, and am now shopping there for my grandchildren and for all my musical needs in between.

5 Stars are way too few..Steve Schwartz of Steve’s Music Center goes above and beyond in his service towards myself and others (I’ve witnessed his exemplary care on over a dozen occasions over the years). He’s honest, reliable, fair and just plain old good people! Additionally, he hosts an awesome open mic jam weekly where he helps others in pursuit of their musicality, bringing his store motto to life in othersthat being: Stop wishing, start playing🙂🌈🦋🎶✌️!

What can I say about Steve that hasn't been said? I remember him from his previous location in Monticello and he's been the go to guy for all of Sullivan county. Usually that situation sucks but Steve is fantastic. Whether you need student beginner items, used equipment on the cheap, or you wanna geek out over technicalities before making a large purchase He's a great human being and not so surprisingly, an established musician in his own right with knowledge extending just about everywhere. Okay brass tacks. I've purchased guitars from the man, I've sent people there, brought people there, laughed at musicians who complain about their dicey Craigslist deals. Hahahah! Stop wishing, start playing dummies!

Steve's Music Center is a great local music store. I have known Steve for over 25 years and been a customer for just as long. He has a great selection of effect pedals, accessories, pickups, new and used instruments, amps, a dedicated acoustic guitar room, and a big library of music books and tab. If you don't live nearby, you can order from the website and Steve will personally pack and ship your order anywhere in the country and beyond. Steve even has on site music lessons available and if you need a guitar or piece of equipment repaired, he will take care of you! By the way, Steve is one of nicest guys you'll ever meet! Support your local music shop!
