They never fail to satisfy. They have good-sized portions! If you leave here hungry, you're doing something wrong. Very tasty! Quaint surroundings! Roscoe is a cute little fishing town.

I've always liked the Roscoe Diner. My friends and I would stop here during roadtrips to/from college. It has a fun, family-friendly atmosphere like most diners. The flags on the walls representing different colleges/universities is a cute touch. Food is good, but definitely depends on what you order. Standard diner, convenient location off the highway.

My husband and I love breakfast! We stopped at the diner and the food and service were good. I got the pancakes topped with banana and my husband got the Greek omelette. The pancakes were a little crumbly but other than that no complaints here. Fast friendly service and easy to get to off the interstate. I’d recommend stopping here!

The food was wonderful as always but the real reason we even stop is the memories of my husband and his dad and Uncles who fished Trout town for decades upon decades and always had lunch or breakfast in the Roscoe diner. It's just what you do when you're in town, as a sort of memorial to those family members before you. Then sit, eat and reminisce the old days. It's a bittersweet experience, but one not to miss, while visiting all the old haunts, even if you're not there to fish today. Thank you.

Comfort food in the middle of the Catskills.

Good American food. Lots of burger and chicken choices. Fries. Shakes. Wings. Breakfast at any time I think. Couple of burger plates and Buffalo wings and a shake $45.
Excellent service. Clean environment. One urinal was out of service.

We were waiting for 20 minutes to be seated. Ask if we can be seated and she said no and had to wait for the kitchen to catch up with the orders. I said well we can’t sit and wait. Plenty open tables and booths She said no. That you will not be served. She was very rude and there were other people complaining and she didn’t care. Big diner and lots of seating they should be able to serve food for the size of the diner they have. Get rid of your hostess. We could have been seated and waited to be served.

Food, hot and yummy.. servers in restaurant, stiff and cold. Perhaps they don't see (or like to see) that many people of color. Yet I tipped over 20% mark to show my appreciation for the grub. :-)

For food, I'd still go there again. This time I will be prepared what service to expect.

World famous - sure! Its a diner with diner food. Its yummy and a great stop when you get into town, or when you are heading back out onto the road. I went 2x and had the corned beef hash, creature of habit. Its good, but ask for it well done if you dont like soggy.

Typical diner with typical diner food. But service was lovely and very friendly. They were able to accommodate my dietary requests (which weren't too demanding but I'm glad they were able to). And it real was great being at the World Famous Roscoe Diner! Clean, friendly, good food. There's nothing more to ask for in a diner.

Good food, ok service. They need to have more vegetarian friendly options though. A veggie burger, a salad, cottage cheese. Needs more options. Can sometimes take a few attempts to get servers attention.

Very disappointing experience last evening. Staff were pretty rude with the exception of the young man who took my order and served me. I was met by a very rude young woman who walked to a table, dropped the menu on it and kept walking without ever turning around to say one word to me. Unbelievable! When I went to the register to pay, the woman there was engrossed with someone in a personal conversation about someone who was visiting. She refused to stop talking to even acknowledge me. She waited on a waitress who was apparently buying dinner while I continued to stand there. I finally shoved my receipt and money at her all while she continued talking to the other person. She struggled to count out the change she owed me, since she couldn't talk and do math at the same time. I finally got my change, but not once did she speak to me. I walked away while she continued talking to the other person. On top of this, the food wasn't even that good. It was very dry with overcooked chicken. Very different from years past when my family used to stop there while traveling.

It's not the best food but I gave it 4 stars because it's a nice place to sit and chat and meet people and it's very wisely decorated with college flags. They do have great pie and the kids menu is good too. It's a cool diner on the highway and, I must say, they have interesting place mats.

Since arriving at our reunion, which we hold on a yearly basis, we heard alot about this place.

After staying a less than comfortable night in Roscoe I wasn't expecting much from their restaurant.

We heard that this place was well known among New Yorkers and this was the place to go for a good breakfast.

The Restaurant was packed when we arrived, which was a good sign.  The inside was clean and bustling with waitresses getting people's orders.

Their menu was well organized and their waitresses friendly.

I ordered two eggs up with sausage and a side order of pancakes.  Other than my eggs being overcooked the meal was fine.

Overall I came away having a good meal and corroborate what others have said about this place.
