Unfortunately the care provided is bad. Interactions with staff, one on one is alright but receiving medical care is dismal once a patient is admitted. Getting admitted to a room is a wait for several hours. The process is inefficient. Very sick and elderly patients too weak to feed themselves are on their own. Trays dropped off with no one checking or helping them eat. Patients who are confined to the bed are not helped too much when having to go to the bathroom. And if a patient is in the last hours of their life, moving them to a private room where they can die with dignity is just about impossible. Trying to get help from staff means one has to be totally submissive and apologetic otherwise they cop an attitude. The medical care process at St. Luke's is well below average.

The staff is negligent and piss poor in bedside ediquette. They send fifteen hundred different doctors and nurses to the room, with no communication between them, so you'll hear the same thing hundreds of times; over and over.
If possible avoid this hospital. Their hygiene is atrocious and I'm surprised they don't have a higher body count due to infection.

I was bitten by a tick and was taken to St. Luke's via ambulance. I was in
ICU for 2 weeksventilated..extremely critical. the Dr"s and medical staff literally saved my life. Excellent care.response / report this review -

St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital is the absolute worst. Completely unprofessional staff in the ICU section. Among the many issues I have with the care they are providing to patients, I am particularly disturbed by a recent incident. I am an unable to visit my dad in the hospital due to my job being away as a service member and I thought it would be a lovely gesture to send my dad some flowers from me and my sister. The flowers were delivered but unfortunately the policy is that flowers are not allowed in the ICU, rather than informing the patient and allowing him the opportunity to read the card, they tossed it to the side and not even inform him they he had received them. When I called my dad and he said he hadn't received anything I contacted the nurses station in ICU and was told that they were sitting in a corner and no one had informed the patient since yesterday. I am so angry with they lack of customer service and unprofessional attitude. This experience for me and my dad was a very disappointing one!!!!

This is the worst hospital Iv ever been to. It took them an hour and a half to give me a room. Than another hour to be seen by a nurse. Anytime someone came and did a urine, blood, catscan it was an hour/ hour and a half wait. They miss diagnosed me. I had to get surgery the next week from a different hospital

I was in today for an outpatient procedure and everyone from security, admin, pre-op, procedure staff and recovery were very kind and attentive to my needs. My experience was a good one.

I gave birth to my daughter here. Had it not been for Dr. KP and the NICU staff, she would not have made it. The staff from the ER, Labor and Delivery and the NICU were amazing. Dr. KP is truly an amazing doctor and truly cares.

The hospital "doctors" have no idea what they are doing. They send prescriptions to places that are closed. Don't even call before they send and tell you to wait till the following day in pain. The staff at st Luke's is stupid and will never be going there again.

I was surprised by all the negative reviews, but It seems like all the negative reviews are for the ER. My mom spent time here after a stroke and two more times for other surgeries. The nurses are kind and the doctors are caring and knowledgeable.

FOR MY CONDITION IT WAS NOTHING SHORT OF 5 STAR TREATMENT FROM THE ENTIRE STAFF..ER. 3N..
RADIOLOGY DIETARY.HOUSEKEEPING.SECURITY. If I could rate this ER a 0, I would. They are a malpractice suit waiting to happen- if it's not a gunshot wound - they don't know how to treat it. My infant nephew had all the signs of a concussion after a fall and they sent him home saying he was fine. Thank god my sister in law had sense enough to get a second opinion at westchester- where he had to have emergency brain surgery. My father had a stroke resulting in irreversible damage and they claimed it was vertigo! It's disgusting that this is the only level of care we can receive in this area!!!!

The ER/hospital is the absolute worst I have been in ny life! I will NEVER come back here. This is the second time taking my toddler son here and both experiences were horrific.
