My bp was 249/135 according to an incorrect bp monitor. At the ER it was 175/95. Still sky high. But after that initial bp check, nothing. Silence. 2 1/2 hours in an empty waiting room on a Wednesday afternoon. Not even an update. Just a lot of sitting and sirens/strobe lights from a never ending fire alarm check. I must not be a priority, which is fine. All I ask is a heads up. Or if they're just incompetent than I prefer to die at home. Outta here. Enjoy my $56 copay!

Google place to visit, especially that my husband's name is on the donors' board

Came into the ER at one am and am still here at five am. Very slow and don't do anything until you say something. Only five patients here and the Dr on call sits for five hours just reading. Just ridiculous. I do realize they have to wait for blood work but it took the nurse two hours before coming in and put IV in and to get the blood work. What is wrong with this hospital? Good thing they don't a really bad emergency

Positively awful! Waited over an hour for blood to be drawn, took 2 and a half hours for other tests to be started, being here as a diabetic and never once offered even a glass of water. Total wasted time in the hospital was 5 hours

Well if I could pick zero stars I would took my husband there this morning with servere chest pain and was going down his left arm. They done a ekg on him they said was good and drew blood said that was normal and told my husband they was gonna unhook and send him on his way. Still having very bad chest pain and shaking from chills and never took a chest xray to see if something else was wrong with him. It was like we were wasting the doctors time I will for sure take him to Cuba hospital or Rochester next time. Something for sure is wrong if you have bad pains in your chest.

If I could give this hospital zero stars I would. I had a horrific experience wrote to the hospital and they never responded. Was having a baby.. came in and they didn't know who I was what I was there for. I was having a planned Caesarean. Let that go, but then the nurse came in after an hour of waiting and asked if I was ready for my malignant melanoma to be removed! Seriously??!! When I finally was wheeled down stairs to have the surgery, the anesthesiologist asked us if we wanted anesthesia. I looked at him shaken up at this point.. ( mind you I had waited nine years for this baby, and the whole experience was a nightmare) I told him don't I need anesthesia? I am having an caesarean. And at this he replied no you don't need it .. its your choice. I have never been asked such a thing!! And then another nurse opened a book and said.." Are you all set then for your tubul litigation.. I was so overwhelmed.. I couldn't think straight to even realize at the moment what that was. I am not having my tubes tied!!! At this point my heart was racing. I was literally in shock. Moments away from having my baby. My husband had to speak for me at this point.. he called for the Dr. Thought everything was ok.. after that.. they wheeled me into the surgical room only to hear as the opened up the doors death metal music blasting!! I am about to have a baby.. its suppose to be a beautiful experience.. I thought I was going to loose it and jump off the table. I kindly asked them to turn it off and they questioned my request ! They told me the Dr liked listening to it.. I said Please turn it off. It took them three attempts to put the needle in my spine for an epidermal! After it was all over.. one nurse left me in my room to fend for myself. I almost fell trying to put my baby back into her bed. This was the worse experience. I have been to Africa third world countries and I can tell you this was far worse!

I have had 3 failed back fusions in Rochester , NY . I see the Pain Specialist once a month . He is very Professional and does his very Best to trying to help my pain levels down . If my Pain increases to the point where I can't handle the Pain Increases to the point where I can no longer handle the Increase Pain any longer , I end up going to the Emergency Department . In the E.R. the Nurse's & the Dr's are trying their best to to helping to bring my Pain levels to decrease . Which 9 out of 10 times they can to bring me some relief . Which will help for me at least a few months . I'm not saying that they are perfect , but I do get the Care from the Time I step into the E.R. until the Time I end up going home .
GREAT JOB TO ALL THE E.R. STAFF FROM THE TIME I GET THERE TIL I AM ABLE TO LEAVE . I RECIEVED THE UTMOST CARE . THANKS TO THE E.R. CREW . ALSO TO THE LAB DRAW AND MY AWESOME PAIN DOCTOR . I JUST WANTED TO SAY " THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTES TO MY HEALTH CARE AT NICHOLAS NOYSE MEMORAL HOSPITAL . KEEP UP THE AWESOME JOB YOU ALL WORK TOGETHER FOR THE PATIENT'S CARE . AMEN . "

Outstanding staff and great medical services. We aren't from around here but they treated us like family and in our time of emergency we were able to relax as the staff took great care of us. Every other hospital, in the world, should make sure they're following the same service standards and treat their patients with the same consideration, kindness and care that this Hospital does theirs. This world's in desperate need of more hospitals such as this one! Such a blessing!
