Renita best nurse I have ever came in contact with in labor and delivery and urgent care wish my daughter could have her the rest of her pregnancy
Hospital is great love the staff my 3 kids born here and nieces and nephews keep it up guys.
The best hospital! I had my daughter here and thay were wonderful.
My experience at this hospital was the worst thing that could have happened in my life. Please all I want is for all you woman out there to becareful where you choose to give birth. The Dr who deliver my baby was ((((((((Dr.Martinez)))))))))please becareful with this man my baby is healthy and is fine but I almost died due to many mistakes he comitted in the process of my delivery. Good luck to you all giving birth with this man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please read reviews about him ask about him! The worst pt is you can't choose who will deliver your baby on that night so if you choose Saint Joseph you are at a risk with this man.
I was on bedrest at this hospital for 18 days prior to my delivery and they did their very best to make me feel at ease through my high risk pregnancy. All of my nurses and techs were amazing and very attentive. I was given a large room for bedrest which had a large sofa that my husband slept on the whole time. The food was great and I was glad they had a weekly menu featuring different meals that way I didn't get bored of eating the same thing. I was given a bed rest bag from high risk hope which really cheered me up and they would bring a dog by once a week to help me cheer up. They really did their best to make you feel happy given your situation. My delivery nurses were amazing and my induction nurses as well. They did an amazing job of helping me learn how to take care of my newborn son and took great care of him after birth.
This review is solely on the gift shop, not patient care. Today I walked in the gift shop and asked for change for a five dollar bill, so that I could give a couple dollars to the valet. The lady said they do not provide change. I understood and decided to buy a pack of gum. The lady called her manager and the manager said she would not sell me the gum if I was going to use my change to tip the valet. She went as far as to say she would pay for the gum herself just to not give me change. I was astonished. They even waived over the security guard even though I was quite polite. The security looked just as puzzled as I was.
She said she didn't have to sell me anything.
I asked her way was she being so mean and it just didn't make sense that she wouldn't sell me the gum because she was concerned about what I was going to do with my own money. I told her to have a blessed day and walked away.
I know this was wrong what happened to me today. She was way out of line and I felt really hurt over her actions.
A lady that witnessed what happened came over and generously gave me $2 because she felt bad over the treatment I received.
I just had to share this because that lady has no business working in a gift shop or anything with customer service.
I was transferred to St. Joes a night after my baby was born at Mease Countryside. My baby was sent there hours after birth for many reasons. When I arrived the staff were so helpful and friendly. I had an emergency c-section and I couldn't really move or was allowed out of my bed over at Mease. A few hours of being there they took me down to see my baby, whom was not improving. They let me stay with her and I ended up taking her off the life support. They were amazing for the 3 days I stayed there. They helped me get up and walk around, use the bathroom, attended to my every need. They were all so amazing and helpful to the fact of what I was going through. I've never liked doctors but I have a soft spot for those at St. Joes. I plan on going there when I go to have my second child. I am glad I got to meet my little girl before she passed and am glad the staff were so supportive and helpful to me.
My wife delivered our first baby here. The entire delivery experience was very pleasant. The nurses and technicians were very nice and professional. We were treated with warm smiling. Special appreciation to Nurse Ann; she walked us through every details of the delivery, with simple words and patience. Knowing what to expect is very important for us, and Ann is definitely one of the most professional RNs we've seen. Thank you all:)
The imaging department is horrible! They call you with one time only (i.e. 9am on a tuesday 2 months out) that they can schedule your appointment you have to go somewhere else. Then they don't even see you for your appointment for 1-2 hours after your appointment time. Go somewhere else, anywhere else if you can.
I would highly recommend this hospital for delivery of your child. I had both of my children here and the nurses absolutely made my stay just as comfortable as possible.
The nurses will guide and stay with you every step of the way and offer as much support as possible.
Thank you to everyone there for all the hard work you do!
