If I left the fate of my mothers life in these peoples hands she would have been dead a LONG time ago. Thank GOODNESS I know my way around the medical field an know when I need to get her transported to other hospitals. This place is the biggest joke. I’ve also personally been sent home twice from the ER one I had a kidney infection they “missed” (after i waited NINE HOURS in the ER waiting room) and the other I had a serious infection that made me have a fever of 102-104 for over 3 weeks an all they said I had was a cold and gave me a bag of fluids.. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE DIAGNOSED OR LIVE FOR THAT MATTER. garbage.

We definitely didn't want to be in the hospital on vacation, but the staff and doctors here are amazing. We saw two different pediatricians during our stay and both were wonderful and came up with a plan for my lil one to get better. The nurses went above and beyond what I expected and made sure that my lil guy was doing well and that we were as comfortable as could be during the circumstances.

It’s never fun to be at the hospital while on vacation, however the staff here were so incredible. Thank you for making an unexpected and unwanted overnight stay a good one. The doctors and nurses were so kind and patient with us. Thank you for taking such great care of my little girl!

Just left the ER with my child. This is the best ER in the area (and I have been to all of them at one time or another). The staff was very friendly, the service was outstanding and the rooms were spotless!! They say they are doing a major renovation and expansion to the hospital. This is such great news for our community and for all the tourist who travel to our area. You won't find better nurses or physicians anywhere!!

Another great visit this morning. Thank you taking such great great of my daughter!

My daughter had her first baby here a few days ago. The nurses was very nice and helpful to her and her family. We drove 14 hours to get to see them every time the nurse checked on my daughter they made sure there was nothing we needed they could help with. They made sure she had everything she needed while there and sent her home with stuff to help get her started. It was nice to not have to go straight to the store to get to go home. Some of her nurses was supper nice and just the best ladies in the world.

I have been coming to this hospital since I moved here in 2010, and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone I encounter is always extremely nice and willing to help. I realize they are a hospital so there will be a wait sometimes, but they are always nice about it.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Pediatric ER. I've had several visits with my children in the last couple months and each time the compassionate professionals in the Pediatric ER have made what could have been a very unpleasant experience much better than I anticipated. The Pediatric ER does an outstanding job of getting patients checked in and moved to a comfortable, secure area to be treated as quickly as possible. Thank you!

We had three wonderful nurses that took care of my husband, Naomi, Emile, and Theresa. They made sure he was always comfortable and never in need of anything. They were very kind and caring to our family and friends and made sure that all of our questions and concerns were answered. Charles loves and appreciates them dearly and he will always remember them.

Slowest ER ever!! My Husband came in by ambulance because He was having trouble breathing and thought He was going to die. They just threw Him in a back waiting room for many hours. Didn't even put Him in a room with a bed. The so called Doctor came in and basically scolded Him for being there for the same thing before. Seriously?? Give Him a break Lady. Get some decent bed side manner. They need to do their job right and figure out what's wrong with Him and then He wouldn't have to come back for the same thing. Get a clue.

I was a patient in the FWBMC Trauma Center for the period of 13 to 24 August 2017. I was hospitalized for a badly broken leg which required two surgeries. During my time in the hospital I was very well taken care of by the entire staff.
I was in pretty significant pain for most of my stay so I really appreciated the tender care I received. Personnel on the team caring for me were always in a good mood and would take the time to stop and chat with me for a few minutes to put me at ease and make me feel comfortable.
From the nutrition department, through the medical technicians, nursing staff, case workers, to the Trauma physicians I felt I was in good hands and watched over by people who really cared about me. Thank you very much.

Overall good experience! Staff was helpful and willing to provide great care. I was in town on vacation from another state. Could tell that additional staffing could assist the current staff due to the amount of patients received. The staff were very professional and I truly believe this needs to be posted due to the recent poor reviews written.

Went in with severe abdominal pain. Signed in at an electronic kiosk. Waited 1hr and was never acknowledged. I understand being busy, but the staff was unfriendly and condescending to the people they were talking to. I've been to this one many times over the years, and I've also been to Sacred Heart in Pensacola a few times over the years. Employees are night and day difference. They're friendly, the place is cleaner, the culture is caring and positive. FWB ER has been consistently poor over the years. If possible, the drive elsewhere is probably worth it. They've never achieved for me, the level of service other ER's do

I just was released from ICU. The nurse Francesca went above and beyond the call of duty to provide care for me. Namely, her attitude despite any obstacles was very positive, empathetic, and stable. If FWBMC would just let Francesca train its employees, patient care would be a much greater paradigm than what I am reading here on Google. Some healthcare workers got it and some do not. Thank you Francesca!

I'm actually laying here at the ER right now and if the pain in my kidneys weren't so intense that I can't drive I would be gone. The staff is rude and disrespectful. Not everyone is here looking for narcotics. But some pain relief would be nice. I actually feel worse than when I came in this is the worst hospital EVER I never should've came to this hell hole

After reading the other reviews prior to writing mine, there really isn't much more I could add, I would just have to agree that this ER is by far the worse I've ever had the misfortune to visit. I'll list a few things for all of you:
HIPPA Privacy doesn't exist in this ER.
Nurses don't want to do their jobs.
This facility (at least in the ER) is unsanitary.
The bathroom the patients have to use is extremely gross.
The explanation of remodeling the ER, so that patients are everywhere in the halls and against walls is deplorable.
Rudeness was common except from one exceptional nurse who was just filling in that day in the ER.
Here is the greatest one - Failure to LISTEN TO PATIENT.
Don't expect a diagnosis, and if you do, get a second opinion.

You are better off going somewhere else. I worked in the medical field for several years, I could not believe the treatment that I received as well as others After all, by the time you leave you know everything about everyone within walking distance from your uncomfortable stretcher.

And the standard automatic response you post on here to people to call and blah, blah Just keep that to yourself, because "Your striving isn't making any difference"
