I have always been well taken care of here. The nurses tended to me very well. I always freaked them out whenever they needed to insert a needle into a vein in my arms or hands. I'm basically the human pin cushion cause my veins are ninjas, haha. The doctors have always diagnosed and helped me combat any illness I needed to see them about. The facility is very neat and clean and has a relaxed atmosphere.
There was one time I had to make a second visit because the staff missed an infection after an x-ray And that was pretty costly to me But apparently it's cause tonsillitis can hide at the base of your tongue in your throat since the tissue cells there are similar to tonsil cells. But hey, they got me the right meds anyway.response / report this review -

INFUSION CENTER / TEAM. THANK YOU!! I can't speak about the hospital but I can tell you Marilyn (check in) and Mike RN are the nicest, really care and listen to your concerns and are incredibly helpful! If you need an infusion this is the group you want. I can't say enough about how great they are. Again I did not have to deal with the hospital but the infusion team deserves a true five star. Maybe the hospital needs to learn from them? Thank you again INFUSION PEOPLE!!

Neglect.
Incompetent staff.
The bed side manner was horrible. I live in las vegas and was visiting when my uncle collapsed and was sent there.

I don't know what everyone is talking about but my experiences dealing with Pennock Doctors, ER, Lab and x-ray have been above excellent. Never have had to wait in ER. Staff all over have been so friendly. Dr Brennen did a wonderful job. I am seeing a urologist that has been great. Most friendly hospital I have every dealt with. Even paying my bill I was offered a payment plan. Thank you Pennock for your extra effort in serving your patients.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS HOSPITAL!! The very young doctor told me if I did not get an appendectomy I could die.. So I agreed, after telling him I had no insurance so really wanted to avoid surgery if at all possible.. Well once they got in there they saw a perfectly healthy appendix and decided they would take it out anyways. If they had ran test to see what was wrong they would have seen before they opened me up! Of course afterwards they tell me it was perfectly healthy but that they decided to take it out anyways.. And then after being told over and over they would let me workout a payment plan since I had no insurance, they blew me off completely anytime I tried to call to set something up, transferring me person to person, knowing I was out of state and wouldn't be able to come in and address them to their faces. They then turned over the debt to a collections agency so pretty much going to this hospital was the worst decision I have ever made. BEWARE OF THE DECEPTIVE DOCTORS!! They are scalpel hungry and don't care who they hurt to get their hours in.

Went to State street after a fall down some stairs. My ankle was very swollen, black and blue. The radiology tech made me walk to get the stay. When done, he went and got a chair. I said"So it's broken, huh." It was. Two ankle no as. He made me walk on it when you could see it was broken. PA was great. Very friendly. The tech and such. Not so much. A t t i t u d e

Dr. Brasseaur office is where my husband says the office staff in the front reception are always so rude. I witnessed today. Val is the most unprofessional office personnel I have encountered. They made a mistake and when I asked to speak with someone about it, the dynamic and treatment changed. I am now sitting and waiting and not given a timeline of when this will be handled.
I understand that mistakes happen it is the lack of customer service and the added unprofessionalism that makes this frustrating.
It is now 30 mins sitting and waiting for someone to speak with me.response / report this review -

Absolutely horrible. We sat in the waiting room for almost 2 hours before our insurance info was even taken. Sat almost another hour with no service until we realized it was a total sh** show. I highly suggest you go somewhere else. The only positive thing was the front counter employees felt bad about our experience and said they would let management know, but reading other reviews this is not an abnormal situation. GO SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN PENNOCK HASTINGS.

Got a scan for a potential spine injury after a flying 2 by 4 hit me in the head and gave me a concussion.
This place is such a terrible hospital! it is sterile, and such a normal hospital experience!
I did not have problems with the hospital as much as I had problems with the other patients. You are all adults, grow up and try some patience. Or download angry birds.response / report this review -

Sat in the emergency room for 5 hours and hadn't been seen by anyone Only to have the nurse bring up my papers saying I was leaving and then that's when they send the Dr in!!! Incompetent hospital in every eay, will never bring my family or myself in there again.

Just heard my uncle had a stroke & my aunt who has cancer and is on oxygen was told she could not use the air at hospital.Her kids had to go get tanks and she won't be able to stay with her husband very long because of it. Merry Christmas to my family from Pennock .

Incompetent! Been sitting in here for over 2 hours, asked if someone was going to help my friend and got nothing! Couldn't find chart for said patient, finally come back and tell me " your next to be seen". Plenty of people have came in after us and already left! My friend and I both have kids and families at home, get it together Pennock! Exactly why I don't come here.
