I live nearby and it's our favorite place for Sunday brunches! My favorite is the bread pudding pancake and they have the best mashed potatoes I ever had in my life!!!

Fantastic! The food is nicely prepared and tastes fresh and clean. One of my favorite breakfast and brunch spots in Chicago. The food here is very comforting and satisfying. Recommended!

So many options and many of them are unique, so it’s hard to choose. Everything selected by my group was tasty so I️ don’t think there are any bad options.
It’s a bright, casual place with good food and the noise level was conducive to having a conversation.

Great Breakfast. I had the Brisket & Gravy which is the probably the best version of Biscuits and Gravy I have ever had! I plan on returning to try more dishes.

A wonderful place for brunch any day of the week. There is a wide variety of menu items as well as a small specialty food store and bakery inside. It combines the cozy atmosphere of a diner with the cuisine of an upscale restaurant. The outdoor seating is also a huge plus!

This is a small neighborhood grocery store that also serves lunch. The sandwiches are excellent and the salad portion is huge. The service is good.

A friend of mine - who lived just a couple of blocks away from the place - recommended it. We had maybe too high expectations. We had to wait pretty much after ordering, and we had to wait a bit to order. I expected the food to taste different. Maybe I had something else on my mind when I ordered my dish. Would probably go again - when its not so packed.

Overall: Delicious, charming, and charming, brunch doesn't get much better!
The good: Superb tasting food, the quiche was fantastic and the coffee cake was well done. The variety of the menu puts a fun twist on brunch. I'm sure the non-breakfast options are great. Charming atmosphere and also tons of to-go bakery items and bakery spices and goods.
The bad: Small space, especially if the outside is closed. Tight squeezes. Service can be hindered due to that. Menu, while great, good of had a few more options. Long wait

Excellent menu with fast service and wonderful diner style cafe with small granola-friendly grocery selection. Perfect for a quick hit or long breakfast stay.

This place is so good I went there twice in 3 days. Fresh ingredients, delicious combos, and relaxed atmosphere. The brisket hash bowl is amazing. Coffees are around $4.5 or $2.5 for bottomless. They have a market in the building but the products are insanely expensive so I wouldn't buy them. This review is really just for the restaurant.

Great little brunch spot with an eclectic and well-priced menu. I came here recently and tried their brisket hash and cheese grits, and both were comforting and exactly what I want to eat in the morning. They get very busy the closer you get to noon, so try to get in either really early and closer to mid-afternoon for brunch.

The food is excellent and the service is generally good. They have an excellent solution for long line waits. Give your name and mobile number and they text you a link so you can leave to walk around the different Southport shops while you wait. The link shows you your place in line and expected wait and is updated frequently. You will also get a text when you should head back to be seated. The major drawback to this place is the very small size. They exacerbate this by cramming too many tables in, as well as a very small grocery section. If they removed just one table, they could increase the distance between the remaining tables and allow people to move around more easily and comfortably.
