This was absolutely the be best haunted house we went to this year! It took right around a hour to get through, and for the price, you cannot go wrong. The staff and characters we great. The effects were awesome as well! It is a great idea to have the port-a-potty right by the line. Thank you for that!!

We went as a group of 12 adults, so we were divided into 2 groups of 6. Both groups came out happy. We had a blast. Nobody touches you, although they may come pretty close. Every last square inch of the place is covered in dungeon. It’s pretty amazing. I definitely would recommend it.

My best friend and I arrived on the last Sunday before Halloween around 7:30pm. It was already pretty full considering they had only been open for a half hour, so I definitely recommend getting here early as lines can become very long. Regardless of however long you wind up waiting, it will absolutely be worth it. I go to about 5 to 7 haunted houses every Halloween season, and this one is hands down the best. They have great acting, fantastically realistic sets, and something to scare everyone. It is so much more than actors just jumping out at you - but I don't want to give any spoilers away. Some of the awesome things I experienced there are so original, scary and surprising, you just have to find them out for yourself.

I was given the recommendation to go here last year, and I ended up going and it was truly awesome. The dedication all the actors put into the haunt is amazing. From the very beginning to the final room I was on my toes the whole time, and I was also having so much fun. The actors didn’t only try to scare you, they also interacted with the Guests which made it that much better. I loved it so much I’m going again in the same week! I don’t want to hype it up too much because everyone has a different taste in what they want for haunted houses, but this is definitely one you want to try out! It’s great for the price, and the hour walkthrough is 100% accurate. The house does a great job at appealing to many age groups, as my whole group was two teens and two adults and we all enjoyed it. This has been one of the best entertainment experiences I’ve ever been too and I give props to the whole team for putting together such a great haunt!

This place is absolutely amazing. I've been coming here every year since they were back at the old fairgrounds. Every year is a new experience and a new challenge of all 5 senses. I personally love all the perception play that happens, such as the crazy lighting, the floor and wall changes, and even the different smells. And located where is it, makes getting there part of the experience. Highly recommend this haunted house!

This has been the absolute best haunted house I have ever been to. You can tell the actors actually care about their job and try very hard all night long to make the best performance. Very scary, very freaky, and very worth the money to go.

Dungeon of Doom has continued to be my all time favorite haunt. I have run several haunted attractions and have visited more than 200 haunted houses over the last 20 years and DOD is the one that stands out the most. DOD stands toe to toe with the top at attractions such as The Darkness, Erebus, and others. On top of being such a great attraction, DOD sports owners who genuinely care about their haunt and have a passion that shows through the haunt itself.

DOD is a must see no matter how far you live and even with out a large sponsorship or commercial backing DOD delivers the best bang for your buck that you will find in the midwest. Yes it is detailed, yes it is scary, yes it is intense. It truly has become a legendary haunt for the Chicago and Milwaukee area!

Best haunted house in the city and its not even close. In there for an hour, buried alive, etc. its like nothing else. We try to hit 4 new houses each year, but this one is always on the list because its just so good.
Also, the prison escape room idea we were told about sounds amazing.

HIT THIS house, you will not be dissapointed.

We attended opening weekend and were blown away! This may just be the best haunt in the country! A 70 minute tour time, an amazing cast, and some of the most innovative/highly detailed sets you will ever see! We traveled over 4 hrs to visit and we will without a doubt be back for 2018! A "must see" world class attraction in every regard!

I want to note That I have NOT been to this haunted house, yeah I'm writing a review to something I haven't seen. The reason for this is that while doing my research to find a good haunted house this year, on here I noticed that SEVERAL if not THE MAJORITY of reviews are from people that are ASSOCIATED or EMPLOYED by this, the haunted house they are reviewing If they can leave what's an obvious bias review then I might as well balance the ratings and say, I haven't been here but I'm not taking someone who works here word for it! I may yet try it out and may or may not change my mind about it.

Still NOT COOL to write a bias review because you work or are associated here!!!

This is an awesome haunted house! Elaborate detail. Unique design. High quality. It's like a fun-house gone horror! Be careful while being buried alive. My key fob fell out of my pocketI was lucky to get it back! The employees were gracious enough to look for it while the haunted house was in operation even though they thought it was a goner. They actually found it quickly and I was on my way! I will definitely go to this year after year.

The Legendary Dungeon of Doom Haunted House is by far the best haunted house out there. If you want overwhelming, in your face terror, then this is definitely the place to visit. From the moment you arrive to the time you leave you are immersed in their world. The rooms have such incredible detail, right down to the smells! The terrible smell of something rotten as you walk into the sewer, the awful odor in the slaughter house freezer, what is that?! And Mercy General just smells like insanity.

Their killer crew is truly a cut above the rest! They're not the typical, scream in your face for a cheap scare. They engage and interact with you, and for me, they are huge part of what makes Dungeon of Doom my favorite place to visit. We brought my 12 year old daughter and they were amazing with her! They didn't only focus on her because she was terrified, but they also didn't stay away from her because she’s young and scared. They give you just the right amount of heart pounding fear. And because of that she can't wait to come back!!

This place does not have the typical haunted house conga line. You actually get to go in with small groups, and because of this they can really concentrate on scaring the pants off of you. So many places are focused on getting you in and out. Dungeon of Doom is just focused on YOU!

Thank you Dungeon of Doom for being the one haunted house out there that dares to be different!! That doesn't shy away from trying new things and for bringing back old favorites!! (We love chair guy!!!!!)

We can't wait to see what next year brings!

I have been coming here for the past 4 years and I never have any complaints. This is the only haunted house that I feel is the BEST!! The actors know how to really scare you and pop up when you are not expecting it. I liked how they don't put crowds of people at once and the entire time I felt that it was just me and my friend walking through the haunted house by ourselves. Buried alive is the attraction that everyone loves and I had the opportunity to talk to one of the owners at the end about that attraction. I highly recommend this haunt over all the other haunted house!!!!
