Very good pizza. Among the best in the dc metro area. Crust is just right, nice crunch, great taste. Sauce is very good.
Overrated! Pizza is mediocre and way too expensive. I could've gotten something better from Papa John's or Dominoes for way less than I paid for this one-topping pizza. Customer service is rude. The server followed my fiance' out the restaurant to make a smart ass comment about tipping. We always tip, but even if he didn't, tips are optional and based on the service provided. That was rude and highly unprofessional. We eat out a lot, but don't worry, we won't be going back to this place.
Fantastic pizza. The ingredients are sourced locally when possible, and cooked in a burning hot stone hearth. The menu is simple but diverse, and the overall quality is superb every visit. The service is excellent. Special shout out to the bartenders Geoff and Cody for taking wonderful care of us. Will return and highly recommended to all.
I came tonight for the premiere of Interstellar Ginger Brewing Company's beer. The beer was a perfect accompaniment to all the fabulous flavors of.pizza that they offer. It is a light crisp sweet beer unlike any available in Birmingham. The first contact has a has a wonderful tasty blend of lemon with ginger that is refreshing but not to heavy. The space mule is a spicy mixture of ginger and lime. My favorite to enjoy was the Ginger colada, it's sweet and tropical flavors made the cool fall night feel refreshing. However, the coolest one was sunspot. It is an amazing mixture made by the aliens at interstellar brewing that will glow in black light!
Complaints about it being pricey? BS. Go back to Panera, morons. Very reasonable considering the quality, ingredients, and incredibly authentic atmosphere.
The pizza is very delicious, the service is very good; they are nice and helped my daughter have a great 18 birthday.
My favorite pizza place in the city. Craft pizza and craft brews: expect the prices that come with it. The ingredients are fresh and the specials are incredible. This is a great place to go and share different flavors of pizza Among friends. Trying to decide on just one type of pizza is too difficult. The salads are crisp and refreshing as well.
Pizza was in point and right on time . I ordered to go because we were traveling. No wait time Matt and Corey at the bar was very helpful and pleasant. Recommendations was a plus Matt also assured that my pizza came half and half after the order was placed. I highly suggest this spot for the best pizza around .
Fabulous pizza. Great variety. Very attentive server he was so helpful too choosing just the right beer. Turned us on to the finest blue blackberry cheese cake. Quality and quantity at the right price!
Great food. Did not get greeted or conversed with and nobody was in the establishment. But when I did speak out and ask for assistance they did respond and thanked me for coming.
I have had pizza all over the country and this is definately up at the top! A family owned business that sincerely takes pride in what they prepare and serve. The crust is well a prepared not too thin, and perfect consistency baked in a stone oven and all the toppings I ordered were far above everyone else's pizza topings, especially the sausage and roasted garlic! Amazing pizza that I could never get enough of.
Pretty terrible service. Waiter was extremely impatient and rude, then was told by one of his coworkers to "take a breath" as if we were annoying him. I asked for 3 things the whole time we were there (and I asked politely, because I believe you get what you give). I asked initially for more time to order after we picked an appetizer which he seemed frustrated about (this was our first time there so we needed a few minutes to look at the menu), then I asked for an extra dipping sauce for our $10 breadsticks, and an extra vinaigrette (because the first vinaigrette dressing was 95% oil, 5% red wine vinegar). That's when I heard the calm down comment. I'm pretty easy going and a bit overly polite, and if this guy got annoyed with me, he needs to pick a different profession. The food was ok but definitely not 4.5 stars. For the price, food was worth 3.5 stars, service was zero.
It was a great night there and great food/service! Cocktails were a bit lacking but the food made up for it!
Great pizza and great atmosphere in the heart of downtown UAB country. I usually don't like thin crust pies, but this was fantastic. Great service. Go ahead and order a pie, you will not be disappointed!
