Winery is a joke. Its two rooms where they basically say here is a holding tank. You wpuld also expect to get educated there about the wine and flavors but all you get is "this is white/ this is red." Um okay I would qlso recommend as a business to at least plate the grocery store snacks instead of tossing out baby bell and a pack of crackers and then leaving guests waiting for 30 min in between wines. Wines were mediocre at best. Dont waste a trip here.

My experience was okay, but not great. I had an appointment at 1:30pm for a wine tasting, cheese tray, and a 45 minute train ride. I showed up at 1:20pm and checked in at the counter where they checked me off on their list. I took a seat and waited patiently, knowing I was 10 minutes early. At 2:00pm, I had still not been served or spoken to at all. I had to go to the counter and remind them I was there. They finally told me to just pick a seat and started serving me the wine. The cheese tray was good. The train ride was about 20-25 minutes, so quite shorter than advertised.

Had a great trip . My husband and my self went on a tour and wine tasting . Everyone was very friendly . They where great about answering all of our question and gave great details of each wine. I will be going back .

We went there today for our 30th anniversary which is tomorrow and had a great time! Its a cute little place and our guide was awesome. She told us about the history and how things are made - nobody was rude at all. There were about six other couples as well and even they seemed to be having a good time. We'll definitely be going back, only next time taking our out of town guests with us!

Atmosphere: Seemed unwelcomed and rude.
Wine: They had a variety of the same tasting wine. They were very strong and not tasteful (in my opinion).
Decor: The decor was amazing, loved how they have arranged the place.
People who need accomendation: Where the vineyard is located you will need to make sure you park at the very top of the hill. Its a very steep hill for those who have walkers, canes, crutches, or anything in that nature.
I will not come again to this particular vineyard. The Morgan Creek Vineyard had a better atmosphere and wines.

Wife and her best friend went for a tour, tasting, & cheese plate deal on Groupon. They were absolutely blown away and had an awesome time. She said they are also distilling vodka and whiskey, so I may have to accompany her next time! Great gift idea for your ladies, fellas!

It seems like couples are not welcomed only large groups! Waited 20 mins and we were ignored. Rude people! I made the mistake and asked if they had anything sweet that they could recommend and the waiter sarcastically responded we are out of sugar packet! Went down to the next winery in Alabaster Vizzini and bought 6 bottles of wine a good experience!

Just tried a bottle of the peach. All I can say is Alabama wines are terrible. My wife said it tasted like kerosene! Another awfull wine I had was from somewhere around Talladega. It is too bad since I live in Bama. My favorite is muscadine made by Duplin Vineyards of North Carolina.

We really didn't like this winery. It is pretty difficult to find wineries thought the Southeast and it's really difficult to find a great one. So we are always pretty excited if we find a decent place to enjoy a good tasting. The service at Ozan was poor, with the staff seemingly having other places to be. The atmosphere is really cool. It's like a Tuscany home in the middle of Alabama. Overall, the place just seems to take itself too seriously. They charge a fair amount of money for a tasting but at least you get a glass (the one you're drinking out of). Wine is subjective but out of the three of us noone enjoyed what Ozan had to offer. We had just left another local winery in the Birmingham area and had a much better experience both with flavor and staff. I don't think we will return. All three in our party have significant experience with wineries in Virginia and have been to as many as we can find in the Southeast. Unfortunately, we're still in search for our favorite in Alabama.
