Michael Albritten was wonderful to work with. He was helpful without being pushy. After visiting several dealerships we chose Royal because they were able to supply exactly what we were searching for and the service was above expected
We visited several dealerships and had previously purchased a car with dissatisfaction. Jason Dudley provided exceptional service! He was very professional when explaining our options as relating to our unique situation. He took time to explain the overall process. Additionally, he was very thorough in detailing all features on the Passat. We are definitely satisfied with our purchase and would definitely recommend Jason Dudley to others interested in receiving honest and excetional service!
The GMC sales manager, Matt, was hostile and extremely rude to me, my wife and my 3 year old daughter while we were waiting on a trade in number to offset the purchase of a new Yukon. The dealership had a kids play car in the waiting area and naturally my three year got on it. Apparently kids are not allowed on the only toy in the waiting area and surprisingly this dealership is in the toy business. As I was supervising and playing with my daughter, the sales manager ran over and berated me and my family about using the kids toy car. Visibly upset, Matt yelled to get my kid off the toy, asked me If I planned on buying it and "what the hell was I thinking". Wow! He made my 3 year old cry and made my wife so upset she just left. (Per goggle this toy car cost $247). The Yukon was $68,000. Too many dealerships around to get treated in such a manner. Went with an SUV Lexus. Tom Williams dealership is much nicer in almost all aspects.
We enjoyed the professionalism and honesty with this dealership. We communicated first via phone and once we arrived at the dealership there were no changes made to our arrangements. All original agreements were kept. We definitely recommend this dealership.
Don Thomas has guided me through the purchase of 2 vehicles in the past year and each time he made the entire process "hassle-free" from start to finish. He has always been so helpful and provided the information I needed to help in my decision to purchase. I would highly recommend Don and Royal Automotive to anyone in the market for a vehicle!
Love the Volvo! Easy buying experience. Ben and the team were great to deal with. Would not buy from anywhere else.
Mark Elliot is a great salesman whom I would heartily recommend to anyone interested in purchasing a new Buick! Even though I had been considering buying a LaCrosse for almost six months, he never resorted to “hard sales” tactics; allowing me to take my time until I was finally comfortable with the purchase. During the interim, he would occasionally, yet unobtrusively, check to see if I was still in the market for a new car and advise me of any upcoming sales.
Simply put, if you are considering purchasing a car, Mark’s your man!
My experience from service to sales at Royal Automotive has been nothing less than excellent!
Everyone We worked with was extremely professional and courteous! I remain a loyal Volvo customer!
This was probably the best car buying experience I've had in a very long time. Willy, my salesman was fantastic. Friendly, willing to do anything to help me find a great car. He did not pressure me at all and worked hard to get me the deal I wanted. All staff their seem great. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!
We bought a used van that we had seen listed on the inter-net! Matt Morgan was the best salesman we have dealt with! He answered every question we had and then some! Couldn't have had a better experience buying a vehicle! I highly recommend using Royal and looking up Matt when you get there!
Don Thomas is such a wonderful person to work with!!! We have purchased multiple cars from him.
Zoey is probably the most illiterate person I've ever met in my life, and I'm not sure if Dana lacks the verbal communication skills necessary to comprehend what someone else is saying, or if she's permanently stuck in a terrifyingly idiotic state where she cannot even begin to fathom someone else's viewpoint.
If I could leave negative stars, I would.
Sales is awesome. Service is probably okay. The body shop is a flaming train wreck that you'd want to avoid at any and all costs.
I live in US for 3 years! I'd never seen meanest people like these staff! They are rude. I'm still learning English and I started to conversation " sorry for my broken English." They did not even try to help me and All they want is your money! Don't waste your money with these rude people! There is no reason for giving them 5 stars other than being family member!
I received great service from Tom Godwin. The follow up after the sale was awesome. Bill Bradshaw knew EVERYTHING about my Buick! Micah in finance was a pleasure to deal with! Go see this great group of guys and girls!
Short story: Didn't do what they said they would do. Wouldn't tell me it hadn't been done on the phone. Only found out they hadn't done it when I showed up at the agreed pick-up time. Then told me they couldn't do it at all an hour after I agreed to wait to have it done. EIGHT HOURS to get from A-to-Z.
Long story: Scheduled recall service here for my 2015 Golf. Phone interaction was pleasant enough, but I found it odd to hear another man's voice in the background telling the person I was speaking with what to say, verbatim, in reply to my questions regarding the recall and what to expect. I dropped the car off at 7am and was impressed with the quick shuttle service home. Was told that the car would be ready by 3pm. Called at 2pm to ask if the car was ready, and the rep answering my call at the service center (keep in mind this turned out to be 5 computers attached to the same counter at the service building's entrance) stated that only the rep who set up my service could inform me as to whether or not my car was ready to be picked up. This seemed pretty suspect, as it's 2017, and the extremely well appointed and clean office was obviously wired with intra/internet service. I asked to be put on hold, but was told that was not an option. It was leave a message or bust. So I hung up, and had a friend drive me to the location. I received a phone call while still 5 min away that the car was not ready, and in fact, work had not even been started (stated excuse was that 2 people had called in sick). Walked to Waffle House while they "put me in the front of the line". Got my sandwich at the exact same time that the rep called to tell me that the recall repair would not be possible until my gas tank was 1/3 empty or less. Since my tank was full, they couldn't help me.
So lets get this straight:
1. They never mentioned the gas-tank being "1/3 full or less" part to begin with, and the rep apologized and took personal responsibility for that which I'm willing to stomach. His name was Devin and he was very professional, courteous, and sincerely apologetic and I hope he finds a better place to work.
2. Claiming no one but my rep could find out if my car was ready is hogwash. The person answering the phone just didn't want to deal with an unsatisfied customer, so he passed the buck to his coworker and wasted my, and Devin's, time; this is the main thing that bothered me with my Royal Automotive experience. And when I showed up to the service center and asked if my car was ready, it turned out I was speaking to the same rep, who said something akin to, "Sir, as I said to you on the phone, I've got 45 cars in service right now and I can't know everything about all of them. You're going to have to talk to your rep."
3. They told me to my face that the car would be ready at 3pm, and never emailed or phoned or pigeoned or smoke-signaled to let me know that the time table had changed. A lot of needless hassle could have been avoided if simple hospitality had been used. I took valuable time to arrange this service, only to have nothing gained.
4. I realize that it is somewhat time consuming and a pain to empty a gas tank in order to work on a car. I also realize that it is entirely possible to do. It seems that these people expect you to be naive or stupid. I was so done with Royal Automotive that I didn't even bother to ask why they weren't capable of emptying the gas tank in order to do the repair.
I realize that chances are decent that my experience was an outlier, and with the exception of one unpleasant rep, every single person I interacted with was very pleasant. And I hate that this review might take money away from them, but I'm not going back, and encourage you to stay away.
