La Quinta Inn is a good place to stay if you're in the Saint Pete Clearwater area they have a great continental breakfast they have a pool lots of entertainment around the motel lots of stores movie theaters Parks or kinds of stuff to do recommend here
Room was clean and the employees where nice. But three stars due to the reason one of the nights I stayed there some one came by at 6:00 am and kept knocking on the door. Other then that I would give a 4 star.
Not terrible but I wouldn't stay again. There was dirt/mold in the shower and the area isn't the greatest. Close to main roads which increased noise and you'd think it would be convenient but it was quite difficult to pull out onto these main roads the way the parking lot is set up. Lots of traffic in front. The channels offered were minimal as well.
I have stayed at this location in the past. Today as I was about to make a reservation, for some reason, I felt the need to read the reviews. So very glad I did. I am disabled and have severe allergies. I am appalled of the way this establishment has become unfit to stay in. I am guessing it is now a franchise and not corporate any longer. You ruined my vacation plans. Now I have to chance staying somewhere that I am unfamiliar with. Sounds like this has become a transient hotel. VERY disappointed.
Clean & comfortable. Had a few maintenance issues they don't keep up on very well. Pets allowed and smoking rooms available. Price is very reasonable.
Room was clean and neat, the staff at the front desk were awesome. Only problem was the handicapped rooms are not so handicapped accessible. The bathroom was great, however the room was very small and hard maneuvering the wheelchair around the room. The free breakfast in the morning was wonderful tho and the wifi worked perfect.
My husband and I have visited this LaQuinta in Pinellas Park FL many times. The staff here has always been friendly and has gone out of there way to help us. We also are glad that we are allowed to bring our dog with a. comfortable I highly recommend this location to everyone, the rooms are always clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the pool is nice and clean.
Not a bad place, some rooms have no fridge or micro and a little confusing to navigate. Nice pool and clean rooms.
It was okay at first I called over the phone to reserve a room for two nights. The woman on the phone said if we wanted to cancel the second night, to let them know and check out by 6pm. I thought it was strange being told to check out at 6pm. Usually, it's earlier. But the woman reassured me "you can cancel and check out by 6pm if you change your mind on the second night".
So we checked in. First night went horribly. Mosquitoes all over the room. We kept finding roaches. Everywhere. Hearing strange noises from people screaming down the hallway.
In the morning, we got the free breakfast, but the people at the desk seemed rude. Maybe they just weren't "morning people".
We went around 5:00 to check out because we kept finding more and more roaches, and we'd gotten eaten by the mosquitoes so badly.
We were going to find a better hotel to stay in.
But guess what?
The man at the front desk told us that, no, we couldn't cancel past 12am. We would still be charged for the second night.
We told him that the woman on the phone told us we could cancel and check out at 6pm. He called us liars. He was completely rude to us.
So we're stuck staying another night in this mosquito infested, roach filled hotel room that still smells of cigarette smoke, although it's supposedly " nonsmoking".
Because why leave when we'll be charged for it, anyway? I was going to pay for a different and better hotel, but now I'm stuck with this one.
Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Don't trust a word these employees say.
Wish I could get refunded my money for this second awful night, but I doubt it since they seem to be so desperate for money that they would lie to their guests.
If I were you, I would just look for a better hotel.
Seemed like a pretty bad area. Right out the gate we had someone try to pick a fight and threaten us with guns and knives. Hen the following day we watched someone who was clearly strung out on something have to be picked up by the police after emergency responders jacked in an IV to get him up and coherent. I'm only giving it a 3 because of the awesome sporting goods store nearbt, and access to shopping. I recommend looking into another hotel in area.
Stayed for one night. The room was okay and we didn't have any issues. La Quinta is great if you have pets. There's no extra fee and it's not limited to small dogs. The location is pretty good as well and there's plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Downtown St Pete is only about a 12 minute drive away.
