Called a 2nd time, no response again. They don't want anyone in the whole building to ever respond to phone calls.

This facility is not off to a good start. I called at 4:17pm on Tuesday, October 4th, when the office is supposed to close in ~45 minutes at 5pm, as stated online, via Google Maps. However, the answering machine went to voicemail or to have the option to: "dial the number in the directory of the person you want to call", but it gives no list and you just have to guess numbers if it's your first time and just wanted to speak to a receptionist or operator. Essentially, they rigged it to where they can avoid answering the phone, unless, like my case, we can randomly guess a specific employee's number and chat with them, but the one I happen to guess correctly was a man and that one also went to voicemail. So Anyhow.. It's either a very poorly designed answering machine system, or they're intentionally avoiding answering the phone on business hours and when they're available.

I'll rate this even lower if they don't answer my voicemail that I left the guy, as well as if they don't answer my new call during even more active business hours tmw.

All my questions and inquiries thru the years have allways been answered, or I was given the information on how to get it myself.

This is a brand new branch office of the USPTO. I've been there 3 times since it's opening and every interaction has been wonderful. The lady at the front reception is welcoming and even the security officers (this is a federal building) are very helpful. In particular, Juan is the officer who came after us after we left the building to notify us that the person who can help us was back from lunch.
