This place is a motel with a new vanity in the rooms, not a resort
I booked a night at the Scottsdale Resort and Athletic Club due to its proximity to the Release Pool Party. The front desk was very helpful with recommendations on navigating the event, upgraded my room and gave me a late check out because it was my birthday. The room was huge, right off the pool. The furniture is a bit outdated but the property is well maintained. They should do a better job of promoting the use of the athletic club. I wasn't sure of the hours or amenities available to hotel guests.
Overall nice but lacking polish. Several of the television stations would not work, which made the serious lack of channel options even worse. A microwave in the room would have been very nice. The blankets and pillowcases felt and looked like carpet material. Having access to the athletic club was nice and easy to take advantage of. The location great if you are planning on spending most of your visit in the north east valley.
When we first arrived the rooms we're not clean they had dirty dishes out on the counter dirty rag under fridge but I did call the front desk and they made it right by moving us to another room. Besides that the rooms are large definitely worth it. bonus 24-hour pool cant go wrong.
It's a great place to learn and play tennis with fantastic coaches. It is also a very nice resort with a relaxing spa, nice gym, and much more.
Lewis was wonderful. Nice room. Clean, comfy pillows. Had to leave for a family commitment, Lewis was very understanding and helped us with our cancellation. Would recommend. Great location
