We loved visiting IKEA in Tempe though we had to drive pretty far from our house in Glendale. The store was huge and the products were placed at the right area. You feel like walking inside house. We also have a member card and sign up for newsletter which is give us information about what items are on sale. The price was reasonable. The only problem was many of those items were on Scandinavian language and there was no explanation on it. We bought several items from this store and were satisfied.

I really really love Ikea. If you've never been it's an experience you won't forget. A lot of people are turned off because you have to put together a lot of the furniture you purchase here. But the instructions are always good and it's really kind of fun once you get to going on a project. So many choices at so many varied price there's really something for everybody at IKEA.

A favorite place. They offered us delicious samples in one of their beautiful kitchen showrooms. The restaurant is dynamic. Food is delicious, although portions can be a bit larger. I truly appreciate the levels of quality to be had here. Basically, one strolls through all their decorated showrooms. Once an item is selected to your liking, a slip will direct you to where the item can be found. Then, it's off to downstairs to find and take your purchases to the cashier. Be prepared to spend plenty of time here. Also, they sell the absolute best take home food items. Particularly, their frozen salmon, is one of the best in the Country.

Love, love Ikea and the restaurant. Unfortunately the cash registers aren’t working with credit cards in the restaurants. The cashiers are very sweet but we waited nearly 10 min in front of one that tried everything. A manger or someone was down helping another. It’s a WiFi issue they thought? Maybe? Again staff was very nice but someone commented its happens frequently. I was going to bring relatives for lunch over the holidays but I’ll have to call first to see if these are working. My food was cold by the time we sat down. Not good

Always a adventure, but it would be nice if the kid area would give you more time to shop because this place is HUGE! The cafeteria is pretty good and if you want Swedish meatballs then definitely take the time to visit the cafeteria upstairs on the second floor that you can access by taking the stairs as soon as you enter over to the right. They also have several European desserts that are all good and definitely worth a try. Also if you like the sauce that they use on the Swedish meatballs it's also great over french fries as well.

Absolutely love this place. Very family friendly. Restroom is stoked with free diapers, baby wipes and changing table liners. The kids day care is amazing and fun for the kiddos. The restaurant is big and delicious. Great selecrion, very clean and organized. Parking has an area next to the entrance exclusively for families. Always fun for everyone in my family when ever we come here!

It's what you'd figure from a big box home items and furniture store. Seem on par with the average Ikea. This one has window tint though. Probably has something to do with it being in a desert. Do you want some kind of laminated fiberboard piece or something a little more solid? In general, the latter holds up better. Just use common sense before picking what to buy, and don't hesitate to try things out. Some of the cheap couches feel like rocks that's why.

Good place to find some tasty European food, rare for the USA. The furniture there depends on your taste. You can definitely find some useful stuff for your home. No gun zone? They cut a significant part if Arizona's citizens with this stupid banner. Would it make this store safer? Not likely.

Great options for children's bedrooms, storage and toys. Vast parking. Visible from the 10. The food is reasonable and delicious. There's always a staff member available for questions and concerns. There's a child care area, which I have never utilized. Early morning is a great time to visit because of no wait when checking out and rush. I do recommend a quick glance at the catalog before entering the store for familiarization of the all the items because it can be overwhelming, also it has items that may not be available in your local store. And don't forget to apply for the family card for discounts.

I love coming to IKEA! I can literally spend all day here! This store makes me so happy!

Layout is simple. You walk on in, grab a yellow shopping bag, a piece of paper, a pencil, and then you head on up the escalators. There are many arrows on the floor directing you where to go as it is really easy to get lost.

After you've walked the showrooms you head back downstairs and this is where the fun begins!

Here they have tons of items to pick from and they are all categorized. Candles, decor, plants, kitchen stuff, etc. After you have shopped this area you head on into the warehouse and here you can grab furniture, chairs, tables, etc.

The store was clean and organized when I visited Tuesday night. On the weekends this place is a zoo! Employees keep to themselves and will just look at you.

They have a restaurant upstairs and a kids daycare center downstairs right when you walk in. There is also a cafe right in front of the checkout lanes.

Fun store! If you don't like huge crowds come during the week as it is not as busy!

Prices are cheap and the furniture for me is great! Yes you have to be careful with it if you want it to last.

Very large option of furniture and everything seems to be in stock. The staff are really helpful but everything is self serve. The interior is designed so that you have to basically walk through the entire store to get to the one item you want. So expect to spend some time in the store. As for quality of furniture, the furniture won't last you forever.

I love Ikea entirely too much. I can't go inside without being there for an hour or more, and not just because it's a labyrinth of rooms and housewares that you need a Sherpa guide to escape. If you want reasonably priced furniture (and just about everything else), you can get it at Ikea, have dinner while you're there, and bring some Swedish groceries home. And if you have children, they can play in the children's area while you shop. It's always crowded, and parking can be an adventure, though. Also, I'm convinced the "staff" is composed entirely of those who get lost for too long in the store. On a special note: I was there one day when the alarms went off, and they evacuated. The whole thing was handled incredibly well, including the staff in the children's area keeping a good eye in the kids and keeping them together. 5/5, would evacuate again.

So happy to have an Ikea in the area. Don't plan on running in and out, even if you know what you want. Definitely a half a day or more kind of place. Take your time, have some lunch or dinner there and get the great designs and reasonable priced household goods that function well in your home.

Ikea is one of my favorite places to shop. I love being able to see all their furniture set up in mock rooms. It really helps give me inspiration. The food is delicious as well. Love the meatballs but just tried the chicken strips and they are yummy as well. There are some great deals to be found there also. Love the bath mats and you can't beat their prices on picture frames. I can easily spend hours of my life just walking around and looking at everything.

As someone who is relatively new to IKEA, I can definitely say that this store provides a very unique shopping experience. It truly is an "experience" (or perhaps "adventure") each time I go. It's a refreshing break from the same old "run in and out" that most of us are used to. The vast variety of items available combined with their signature uniqueness and intriguing displays make you reconsider almost everything you've previously done to organize and/or decorate your home. I highly recommend a trip to anyone. You won't regret it!
