Nice spot to stop at for lunch many different types of restaurants and pubs. Also during the holiday season Starbucks is open until 10 pm instead of the usual time of 8:30 pm. As far as I know this is an every night thing as long as there is ice skating going on.
Small, beautifully decorated, downtown shopping area. Escalators take you to a high 2nd floor. Mostly restaurants. Elevator and escalators available. Cityscape is crossed by a busy city street without traffic control. Across the street is a more suburban style shopping plaza. The trip crossing the street is difficult for wheelchairs and people with two good legs. Bathrooms available in restaurants.
The parking was convenient but overpriced.
If you are bored in the downtown Phoenix area; stop here! Pull into one of those narrow passages with a large"P" dangling above and enjoy the parking odyssey. There is some street parking nearby (mostly metered).
Try any of the numerous restaurants. Window shopping is popular. Downtown Live is usually featuring something (speaking of high prices).
Walk or ride around the area.
Pay too much somewhere.
Give someone directions to where they think they are parked.
Try to remember where you parked.
It is a cool visit anytime.
It's a nice place to hide.
Bowling alley upstairs (think high-end bowling with food and a full bar, if you're interested).
Comedy club, Mexican food, Veggie place, Pizza AND a water fountain park that's great for the kids to splash around in. Bring your own towels!
On weekends they seem to always have live music or some other live entertainment.
Plus they have Security people who patrol the area. In these days it's good to know.
Great mix of shops, bars, a theater, bowling alley, and restaurants, close to many of the venues downtown for grabbing a meal before your venue. Plus they have rickshaws (Bike Taxi's) that come and go if you need a quick ride to your nearby destination Trust me, it's worth the extra money over a cab. Uber won't dispatch that close to the venues, and they're still a bit of a walk if time is a factor the bikes get it done quick with the added bonus of fun, and some scenic views of the city you wouldn't get in a car.
Love this place. All you need for a great stay cation. Hotels, bowling, dancing, lice music, Case File and Talking Stick Arena close by. Lots of fun and much more to do close by.
Lots of great experiences can be had here. Good food located on the first floor area. The fountains are nice to sit around and the bowling alley above is cool. In Decembers there's an ice rink that can be used.
Very sketchy area directly south and then CityScape just jumps up full of life. Great little area with a bunch of great shops and restuarants. if down in the area, you can't go wrong with any of the places there to eat.
@cityscape is a great example of mixed use space in the heart of downtown Phoenix. During this visit I ate at Squid Ink Sushi Bar.
There is plenty of parking in the garage and most locations validate and if they don’t, the small hourly fee is not bad compared to other parking structures in the area.
If you are new to Phoenix check out one of their many award winning restaurants or check out their residence as a new home!
Wonderful food. We had a private party with timely and friendly service. I don't drink alcohol but those that did were happy. I loved the zucchini puffs! They were puffy tasty and filling. Easy parking down stairs and a mixed hip crowd.
Watch to see what events are going on at CityScape, there is usually something fun going on. Lots of employees in the area love the spot to stop and visit or eat lunch. the only bad thing is sometimes the "urban campers" will get annoying and ask for money. There are lots of types of restaurants to choose from in the area. If you are going to an event at the ballpark or arena, go early and have dinner at CityScape.
Great place to park next to the arena, and not too badly priced (as long as you use the ParkWiz App). The staff was great to interact with and always found a way to make me laugh and feel at ease. Being in downtown Phoenix has always made me feel like I need to constantly look over my shoulder, but I can trust CityScape to keep my car safe.
A favorite of mine to sit out in the sun and watch people do their thing. The buildings surrounding give a cozy feeling. Lots to do around the area and really good places to eat.
I love sitting in the middle of Cityscape, watching the fountain dance. It is a small piece of peace in the middle of it all. The restaurants and shopping offerings are very good, and there's always something happening in the area.
i have always liked the cityscape area that downtown has created. it gives a downtown city vibe that we need here. parking can be a pain but that's expected when heading to a downtown. plenty of bars restaurants to get some drinks or food. recommend!
