Everything anyone from anyplace to prepare a meal. I love Jamaican spices and drinks. I can also get ginger sorrel and ginger beer. Store could be better organized but shelves stay stocked.
Excellent grocery for most ethnic foods. They have fresh produce, a live fish stand, hit food options, a freezer section and extensive dry goods section. It is like an open air market, I definitely enjoy shopping here.
A lot of variety. There product section is a hit or miss. Very impressed with the snacks section though. A lot of variety from around the world.
Tip: make sure you look at the expiration date before buying though
Love going there, employees always helpful, never had a problem with any items of food. A WORLD of different type of foods at great prices. One thing the whole store could be cleaner as far as I am concerned. But will continue to shop here.
Great to have a real life grocer in the City still. If you're someone who likes to cook in Indianapolis you should already know about this place. It is the best place to get fresh food. It is one of the only places you can buy live seafood in the city. Or, if you're ever looking for food you can't normally find, just go to Saraga.
I love this place. There is a great variety and selection across the store from fresh meats and produce to cultural specific food items as well. And you can get it all for a great price. I'll definitely be going back.
Good selection of fresh produce. Shelf and frozen items are a little high, but good selection there too. Lines are often long.
Great selection of food from around the world. If you want exotic, they got it! You can find any kind of meat or fish you'd want to eat and many more you probably wouldn't.
Love this international market! The Biggest one in Indy! Fresh fish, crabs, lobsters, produce. You can find products from all over the world not just Mexican or Asian foods. The produce price is typically cheaper than Walmart. I only gave 4 stars because the one star goes to the stuff that don't have expiration date or are past the expiration date.
When you first walk in it smells of what I imagine a slaughterhouse would smell like. You will not receive any assistance whatsoever. There is a wide variety of items to choose from, I will give them that. The produce selection is plentiful but dicey. My checkout experience and interaction with the cashier was awkward, uncomfortable, and not pleasant at all. My teenage daughter noticed the rude disposition. I will not return as I did not feel welcomed in the establishment.
Best place in town for fresh seafood and vegetables and an immense variety of foreign foods. Go for the amazement factor, keep going back because it's fun and tasty.
This place is great for International foods. Not very friendly service but that may be cultural. I feel nice is nice wherever you go. Taco restaurant there is the best.
HUGE selection of spices, flours and ingredients from all over the world, most at better prices than anywhere else. Reasonably priced fresh produce from all over as well. If you're looking for hard-to-find beef or pork organ meats or parts, or things like goat, rabbit or black chickens, this is the place. Also inside: a separate halal butcher, a small Mexican bakery, an Asian fast-wok micro restaurant, and a TaquerÃa. Have fun roaming the aisles and discovering new things!
This store is nice if you are looking for something different from your regular grocery store around town. I love shopping here when I want fresh Talapia. True, it's not the cleanest but they have whatever you need. One thing though The workers that walk up and down the isles are not helpful at all. I don't even think they speak English. Other than that, it's great!
This grocery store is amazing. Yes, it is extremely cluttered, and no, it's not the cleanest, most spotless place in the world, the checkout lines are slow, but the selection is out of this world. I have been able to learn about so many new kinds of fruits and vegetables just walking through the produce aisle. You can buy any cut of any kind of meat, kosher, halal, whatever you want. They have foods from all over Asia and Africa, and eastern Europe, all at extremely reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this grocery to any adventurous eater who wants to take a culinary tour around the world. The clientele are very diverse and friendly, and it's nice to have that bastion of multiculturalism in the sea of white that is Indianapolis.
