Brought my family on the dinner cruise and the hotel charged me twice for the experience and drinks and then charged my card a third time for the drinks, for a grand total of around $1000 for what should have been a $450 evening. When I brought it to their attention on the boat, they could not help me. I went to the hotel to see if this could be explained or remedied, to no avail. The food was good, the drinks were good, this billing mishap was an unfortunate end to the evening. The reason for the 2 star rating is because there is no staff, including managers, that could explain or remedy this situation. I will not be returning to this hotel again.

Great hotel with a great view of the water. Every time I am in the area I try to stay here. They will give you upgrades and make you feel like a valued guest. Highly recommend!

The staff went above and beyond to make me feel so welcome. Personal touches like a water and towel station out front for a jog or walk are so nice. And being offered a sand chair for my jaunt over to Sanibel Island was very appreciated!

Came here for my company Holiday Party, and man is this place decked out. Lovely atmosphere, the staff is superb, and everything inside was clean and upscale. Loved that the company I work for (Neo) chose this location, and look forward to future parties.

Breathtaking views, top notch staff, and a beautiful location. Everything in the hotel was immaculately maintained. The pool was so big. We had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. My only complaint would be that my bed was a little lumpy.

Excellent Location. Great for families or couples. Real nice people at the front desk. Very accommodating. We got upgraded "just because". Nice staff. Room very clean.

I was going to attend a conference at this hotel the weekend after Hurricane Irma hit. The conference was canceled and we were advised that it would be rescheduled. I called and stayed on hold for more than an hour to cancel this reservation. I explained that I was attending a conference and it was canceled. The person on the phone explained that the hotel was scheduled to reopen the same day as the conference was to start so they could not take a chance of not being ready so that is why they were issuing refunds. I only received credit for 1 of the 2 nights booked. The hotel manager explained that they were in fact operational so they could only credit 1 night. So I've paid more than $200 for a hotel I did not stay in because a hurricane hit. Thanks Marriott. Appreciate it. Absolutely unacceptable in my opinion.

Stayed here for about 4 nights for a work trip. It smelled funky on the floor I was on and the a.c. in the room would not get lower than 76ish it was muggy. When I checked my bed as I always do before getting in it there were hairs all in the bed! Like it was not clean :/ also did not like that they came in and moved all of my things to "clean" while out of the room. I had just arrived the night before and the very next day they came in to "clean".. very odd. Just remember to always check the bed and pillows and put the do not disturb sign up. On the upside the views are great and the yacht sunset cruise is a must!!! Just beautiful.

Some frustration on checking in that was quickly resolved (request for fridge in room not recorded, but our room was switched). Nice, clean hotel. Pleasant, helpful staff. Beautiful property with natural-without-being-out-of-control landscaping. Infused water available throughout the day, coffee and hot tea available in the morning (good selection of tea options). Overall a nice weekend stay.

The rooms were fair, the view on the waterfront side was very nice. The hotel is not actually on Sanibel Island but is a very short drive from it. Good size pool, lots of lounge chairs for tanning.

Great Marriott resort. Two nice warm pools. It's on the harbor so no white Sandy beaches unless you drive across the bridge to Sanibel. The sunsets are perfect.

The resort is nice, good location and a nice lobby. But the rooms and hallways need maintenance badly. The doors, moldings, and walls have scuff marks and dents. For the price they charge and the Marriott brand I was expecting the building to be better maintained.

Hotel was decent. $30 worth of fees were charged at the end of our stay for "resort fee" and "self park fee." Was told we would get refunded a certain portion of our fees due to error on the hotels part and that has yet to be done 2 weeks after move out date. Overall it is over priced, has no beach access. They can charge what they do because of its proximity to Sanibel island and other amenities. No breakfast is included in the cost, only coffee. Other dining options are a little pricey for the portions.

Really impressed with this resort! Wonderful location to see beautiful sunsets and very close to Sanibel island. The spa and resort amenities are amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. All the staff are informative and very nice! I'm so happy with this vacation spot!
