Had to call housekeeping at 4:00pm to clean room, room is extremely basic and carpet on first floor was disgusting (sticky and stained and filthy). Pictures show show beach as being beautiful yet the water is actually brown not blue so they should update their photos to reflect that. Had to ask for a drink while other people were served - like I was invisible standing there at the pool bar. I guess they know their favorite or regular visitors who tip well?
Then the young lady behind the bar was condescending. For the money they charge, a total ripoff. Never going back or recommending. Sad, having come from Canada to feel so let down for a birthday visit. Go somewhere else.response / report this review -

Great stay comfortable, clean,and quiet. The beach was fantastic. Kayaks, paddle boards,bikes were all included in the room fees. Disappointed the restaurant was closed . But will definitely stay again

Everyone was extremely courteous, the grounds were always clean and happy hour was fun each night. The live entertainment was a great perk. You'd never expect it, but the food at the pool side bar was very tasty! Overall a good experience.

I booked this hotel to propose to my girlfriend on Sanibel Island. The staff really went the extra mile to make this trip very special. The amenities were amazing and the food and drink were delicious. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful!

Such a lovely small resort. So many perks such as bikes, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs and umbrellas, and yard games. Loved it here! Truly a home away from home

I loved our stay at Sanibel Inn last week.The room was very clean and the view was magnificent. Food at the poolside bar & grill was awesome. So many friendly people that were so helpful. Chris, the beach attendant, was great and so kind. I know I will be coming back

The Sanibel Inn was great! Room was clean and the view of the gulf was amazing. It's located right off the causeway so it is easy to get to. It was a short walk to the beach and the attendants were quick to get you set up with towels, beach chairs and an umbrella. I would definitely recommend the Sanibel Inn and would love to come back again!

Really nice place for relaxation recommend the condos. Beautiful view. There are 2 problems though. That is, that I heard people cursing twice and there were kids there. Also, they should stop serving alcohol.

The room was fine - nothing special but perfectly fine. The view and the access to the beach however, was spectacular! Pool was nice. Staff was very friendly. Didn't eat there.

My wife and I stayed at this resort for our anniversary a few years ago and loved it. We couldn't wait to return with our 7 month old. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The room (we got a suite) was damp and smelled extremely musty. It melt like a pile of wet towels that accumulated mold from sitting for too long. Every morning when we got up there was a large puddle of water in front of the kitchen area. When we called with concerns, they sent maintenance up who then told us we left the fridge open! Seems coincidental that we would do this two nights in a row. Also, the carpet by the kitchen was wet when we arrived so i guess the guests before us left it open too! We ended up leaving a night early because we were concerned about the air quality and possibility of mold with a 7 month old with us. We were very disappointed as Sanibel is our favorite place to vacation!

We recently just spent the weekend at Sanibel Inn. And WOW! Great price compared to other hotels first of all. We got there a little early and wanted to check if our room was ready even though check in wasn't until 4pm which it was so we were able to get into our room at 1:30pm. The room was nice with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. It also had a nice screened in patio. The pool was only steps away from our room too! They also have a bar where you can order food as well. The best part is that they provide complementary towels, flotation devices, boogie boards, paddle boards, kayaks and bikes to ride!!!! So cool. Chris was so nice and friendly and helped us set up an umbrella by the beach. They also have lawn chairs set up by the beach too. Everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back soon!!! Highly recommend!
