Great location right next to Publix. Right next to Shell Point and the causeway to Sanibel island. The maintenance is a bit behind (busted closet door and broken bath drain). Staff are pleasant and nice and went the extra 1000% to make up for a slip (Thanks Benjamin!).

The hotel is older, and seems to be showing its age. Paint was peeling in the elevator, revealing a patch of wood paneling. The room was rather dirty, including a filthy bedspread (it was obvious that it was dirty, because it was white). There was visible mold in the shower. The bathroom sink was cracked and did not drain properly. Towels were not stocked at the pool.

On the plus side, the pool was nicely heated and quite large. This was one of the nicer pools we've used, almost resort quality. The evening reception was decent.

On a troubling note, my key-card stopped working, and the front desk staff re-keyed it after I told them my name and room number., Without asking for my ID, I'm not quite sure how they knew that I was the guest staying in that room. This makes me concerned about security.

The front desk and reception staff were very nice.

This was our second visit to the Residence inn. We we're met with a complimentary upgrade upon arrival. We were bumped from a studio to a one bedroom. It was very clean and accommodating. There was an odor that was impossible to get rid of. We mentioned it to management and Benjamin was fast and efficient in making sure we were happy. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone!

It's a good hotel but as its pet friendly it's hard to get a room without pet smell in case you are allergic. The breakfast is ok and the staffs are good. Room cleaning is the worst as I found hair which was definitely not mine after opening my comforter first time in the bed. Also the room cleaning service will just do the basic things if you continue your stay rather making it as new check in. Good part it has Kitchenette and also the cooking oven is just like your home one of you like your own food to cook. The hotel location is bit off-site but if you drive e for 10 to 15 minutes you will be in fort Myers beach to get all your need.

This hotel was Great! Extremely clean and dog friendly. Front desk staff was amazing and very helpful. Location is very convenient next to publix and across from the outlets. The hotel is located right at the beginning of the bridge to Sanibel island. Definitely recommend.

Very nice rooms. Rooms were spacious with nice views and furniture. Wifi was fast and beds were comfortable. There was some obvious water damage in the public areas from Hurricane Irma; but nothing too bad. I would stay here again were I back in the area.

It was a great stay for 2 nights. Had 5 people stay at the hotel. There were 2 bedrooms with queen beds and sofa converts to bed in living room. The bbq outside was easy to use and the pool was very refreshing. The staff during breakfast was very cheerful and helpful just like the front desk staff. Great stay for a small weekend getaway.

Very nice hotel, staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms are well equipped with refrigerator, microwave even popcorn. Very nice decor and comfy beds. Free breakfast alone is worth the stay. An array of breads, cereals, fruits and yogurts, for the hot choices there are eggs, bacon, waffles and oatmeal. Something for everyone to enjoy. I will definitely go back.

Absolutely everything about this facility & staff is phenomenal! Today they out did themselves. They had a full service pizza truck on site. Place your order, pay at the truck, and they deliver your order to your table in the hotel dining room. In that dining room is a beautiful spread beer, wine, lemonade, & a full ice cream bar, a beautiful pleasant server, & all complimentary. What a great idea!
    KUDOS 👍👍

This place is definitely worth staying at when visiting the Sanibel Island area, especially for a long term stay. Full kitchen and dining area in our room. Lobby, breakfast area, hallways, and room looked recently updated with nice modern decor. Spacious room that was clean with comfortable beds. Excellent price for the area considering hotel costs just across the bridge on Sanibel Island jump over 70%. Bathrooms could have used a little bit of a deeper clean but altogether a wonderful stay! Also, there were gluten free options at the large free breakfast, which was a wonderful surprise!!

Just stayed for one short night. Business wasn't perfectly organized, but the breakfast was good, pool was fine, rooms were clean and nice. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed but most were very nice to me as a guest. Would recommend.

Really nice hotel, inside and out. My room was very spacious and comfortable. Also, being on crutches at the time, they were very helpful with getting me a shower chair and making sure I was accommodated where they could. Very friendly staff.

Great hotel staff was great very kind made sure you were taken care of! First time in Florida with the family and I will definitely be coming back and staying again there! However we were told they were going to do some renovations and all I saw was maybe some paint and it be great! Location to the beaches was convenient and everything around it as well!

This hotel is very conveniently located, a short drive from Fort Myers and Sanibel. The property is set back in a shopping center with a Publix grocery store. There is no signage other than the building itself. Our family was greeted warmly upon check in and we were allowed an early check in which was very useful for us. Our 2 room suite was spacious and well appointed. Our child left behind her stuffed animal in the hotel room and was very distressed to discover this when we arrived home. We called the hotel, and they had found it and are sending it back to us. This is just awesome service! I would say this was one of our very best experiences in a hotel ever if it were not for one thing. Bugs. There were ants in the main room kitchen and desk. And when my young children were preparing for bed, they spotted the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life, nearly the size of my hand! We were unable to kill it and it escaped away into the room. The children screamed and cried for a long time, and had to sleep in the other room with me. We told the front desk and they said yes, the exterminator is scheduled soon. Hopefully the terrifying bug situation will be remedied soon! It's really too bad about the traumatizing insect problem, because otherwise I would give this property and staff 5 stars!
