Let me start by saying I love Macy's and have been shopping there for many years. Unfortunately, my experiences have become increasingly worse over time. You simply cannot find a sales associate to complete your purchase. There are never enough staff to man the registers so I end up waiting ridiculous amounts of time to buy anything. Today, I finally left. This is the second consecutive time I have abandoned my purchase after more than twenty-five minutes of waiting. And, the store was not very busy.

Very good mall. Looks like a little downtown area. Best to go here in late fall or early spring because it's an outdoor mall. You can go here in the evening too if you want in the summers If you're used to the AZ heat.

Traffic nightmare, avoid in December! Had reservation for Sat night at Brio for 6:30. I got to the corner of 202 exit and E Williams F. and it took 25 min just to get to the entrance of the mall (about 100 yards.) 15 minutes later still crawling between traffic and pedestrians we scrapped our plans and made a b-line for the first way out.
I'm sure the mall is nice during quiet times, but the place is poorly designed to handle high traffic volume. Just my two cents.response / report this review -

Great variety of stores and things to do. The movie theater is good quality. The stores have a large range of objects to buy from books (Barnes and Noble) to sports equipment.

One of our favorite places to walk around the fall through the spring. We get to do some shopping and get a great meal in as well. Great place to take the family and a fantastic place to people watch.

Everything you need reasonable prices. Parkiing can be a challenge. Because it is laid out like streets you do not have to go to stores you are not interested in. You can also have a portion of your purchase go toward local schools.

Outdoor style mall. Lots of nice stores and restaurants, family-friendly with play area for kids. Great for date night, dinner and a movie, etc

SanTan Village is the re-imagination of the shopping mall suited to sun belt cities with excessively large access to undeveloped land. This entire near-the-freeway shopping district allows one to go from retailer to retailer with one's automobile. There is no need for heating or air refrigeration between stores since all of it is open-air with sidewalks that allow for avenue parking. Heating and cooling of every bricks & mortar store is left to those individual retailers. If you can't find it here, it very likely available across the street at a gigantic strip mall or very nearby. Little of this can effectively compete with the modern internet shopping experience. Restrooms are not readily available. There are not enough. The shopping experience here is very different between hot months and tepid winter months.

Nice outdoor shopping mall. No shade structure in the parking lot. There are trees that can provide some shade. There a good mix of different retail stores. The back of the mall has a kid play area and is nice to take a break while the little ones runs around. The mix of restaurants should cater to different needs of individual.

Nice open mall. All the required stores in one place. The best is the small play area for kids near the kids clothing store. I'm new to this area so exploring and like this place. Good for shopping during weekends.

Love this shopping center. Tons of nice restaurants and shops. The play area is super cute and kept nice and clean. The splash pad isn't really worth it because only 2 spouts are going at once. So if there are more than 2 kids, they won't be getting much water.

Busy open-air shopping area. Street parking are very limited, so you may have to walk a bit from the parking lot. Great for walking around at night during Spring / Fall in Arizona.

San Tan Village had potential. The overall use of space at this mall was not well planned. It has a small town shopping vibe, which the Town of Gilbert tries to do with everything, but it's just not realistic because Gilbert has the population of a city.
The overall store selection is sub-par with typical mall stores and less. Parking, ingress and egress, especially during the holidays is atrocious, and the mist system does nothing to cool down the walkways mid summer.response / report this review -

This mall is a great place to visit when the weather is nice. Nice shopping stores. Has some good eating, but needs more. Unfortunately, their food court is closed down. I wish they got something like "The Yard". My wife and love to take our little girl there for a stroll. They have fun little kid area.

This is a hugely popular shopping area. It's more of a modern style open air type shopping center unlike the malls of the past. That means you will do more walking and in the summer experience the heat. It also means finding convenient parking spots is much more difficult. Great variety of stores including movie theaters but surprisingly not a great variety of restaurants. There are a few but you have to drive over a block or two where you will find a great variety.
