I love love love the executive lounge here. Absolutely amazing view of downtown San Jose and the customer service is by far the best I've ever experienced in a long time and I'm a frequent traveler. It's very difficult to get reservations here and I see why. My only issue is the elevators are ridiculously slow, that's it.

I had a wonderful time at this Hotel. I was here for a convention and I loved having direct access to the convention building. Helped when it rained. The hotel is very clean, comfortable beds, and great staff. I also loved the small convienince store in the hotel, it had all the quick grabs I needed. Onlybw8sh there was free breakfast 💜 but all in all great.

It's a standard hotel. Nothing about this place stands out in terms of quality or service. I've slept at better and I've slept at worse. The location is nice as it's walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants, and a museum. The view isn't bad and the workers are nice. I Ubered from the airport so I have not interacted with their valet. There is a bar on the first floor accessible from the outside. Breakfast is not included with standard rooms.

I love this hotel. The location ha easy access to the highway. Rooms are spacious and clean. Noise is kept at bay with good soundproofing and the sun can be blocked by double curtains. Starbucks on site and walking distance to a lot of dining and bars. Valet and overnight parking is expensive, but works well for downtown stays!

Big anchor to the San Jose Convention Center. I really only come here when there is a conference or convention, so I've only seen them at their best. Even when super-busy or slammed by a pg&e brownout, they've always been professional and on top of things. Some prefer the Hilton, but I prefer the Marriott. Well laid out rooms, even at the corners (some of the standards in the corners are even better). The water is too soft and the air too dry, but that makes for a well maintained building. The pool is spartan but outside with a view of the convention center glass but not too hot or shiny. The angles are just right.

Overall the stay was good. Room service was exceptional. Room was comfortable, nice amenities, etc. However; I am reviewing with 2 stars because I was charged for internet when I was explicitly told verbally and via a business card that I would NOT be charged. Was told that I could not be refunded the money because I had already checked out. Also the amount charged was higher than the listed amount on the business card. Will likely be avoiding the Marriott in San Jose if I ever return for a hotel who can keep their promises.

Another example on how to do things right with Marriott.
At this location, they seemed to hire the best friendly people to work. Everyone greets you and is extremely nice.
The amenities were great, with free wifi a workout area and pool.
Definitely a good spot to be in when you visit San Jose!

We loved the stay here. From the front desk to the people working in the cafe we were treated well! Our stay was short (for my stepson's wedding) plus a few side trips, the service was great. Loved the rooms!

The event space is quite nice the rooms are clean and very spacious all of the electronic equipment worked. The lunch was subpar the selections for the chicken and salad were cold and the vegetables on the vegetarian option were rather Bland. Our organization uses this space each year I hope next year they will make better choices for the luncheon options. The staff is always very nice and helpful

Nice hotel, walking distance to plenty of nice restaurants. Everything I asked for was accommodated for efficiently by the staff. For example, I needed to travel with some frozen breast milk, but checkout time was several hours before my conference ended. Staff helped me to put the cooler in their freezer and even topped off the ice for me just before I left. Those things were all helpful, but the fact that they handled it without being weird and awkward really made the difference.

The room is very nice. The air conditioner is quiet and the bed comfortable. The event we attended had food from the hotel and it was really good. The only ding I have to give is that wifi is not free unless you are in the lobby. I would have easily given five stars if it weren't for that.

I've stayed here a total of two times and have fallen in love with this hotel. It's central location is perfect , literally less than a 5 minute walk from anything including food and shops. The staff is extremely professional and always willing to help. The rooms have a very strange layout which makes it a welcome change from the everyday hotel.

Right when I arrived, the valet attendant greeted me and explained the pricing quickly. It was quick and straightforward. The hotel itself was clean and organized. I asked for direction to the bar and they helped me right away. Then the bar, had an excellent time and the bartenders are very friendly. Overall, I'd love to come back.

Overall, I had a good experience. Had a little trouble with my room in that my team was offered a king vs double bed option, but I wasn't when we checked in at the same time. I followed up and asked and the person helping me just wasn't helpful. She said there weren't any available, then I heard the choice being offered to guests after me. So i hag to follow up again, this time with a different person and got a king bed. Getting to my room, I find out that it is next to the service elevator, ice and vending machine, smells of smoke even though the hotel is non-smoking, AND later in the evening, spot lights are shining directly into my room from an event at the convention center. I went to the desk yet again and this time worked with a wonderful woman who got me set up in another king room, on another floor, in the other side of the building. It smelled clean and was quiet! The rest of my experience was great. Was there on business. The ballrooms and tech services were spot on and the food was very good!response / report this review -
