Nice staff, clean and accommodating. As far as a place to stay it’s pretty cut and dry, no frills but it gets the job done. Have no complaints and that’s what we expected. Well I do think that parking is steep ($26 a day with in/out) especially considering that one will drop hundreds of dollars for a room and then have to shell out more dough just to park your car is ridiculous.

Hotel is very nice, even better than expected. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. Room is well-equipped and comfortable. Good location as well, especially if you're visiting the San Jose convention center. Quality hotel, would gladly stay in again.response / report this review -

Do NOT stay here! The hotel is currently under unadvertised renovations on two floors. They kindly let you know this at check-in, not on their website with a paper that says the hours are from 10 am to 6pm. Someone here has trouble telling time. This is Sat morning of my sixth and final night and the construction has gone on early (7:30 am) and late (7pm). Management smiles and nods and sometimes acts surprised that there are workers there - but that's more worrisome than the noise.you have no idea who is in your hotel disturbing your customers?
Yes, they offered to move me, but as a business traveler it's a pain to repack and unpack and if I can't trust what they say about the room I am in, how can I trust another?
If you can easily imagine the sound of screws hitting the floor above as rain and the shuffling and banging as a thunderstorm, this might be your place.
If you want a quiet place to stay with a staff that knows what's going on in their own hotel and doesn't hide behind misinformation at check in, I recommend somewhere else, strongly.response / report this review -

Clean and well maintained. Dated decor and design. Breakfast should be better for the price. Windows do not open, can't get air from outside. Large concrete building. Some noise from other rooms and hall.

The staff of the Hyatt Place were phenomenal! There was an issue with our window and curtains, we called and they came up immediately and fixed up. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. The free breakfast was delicious with lots of hot food options and fresh food options. The location is walkable to so many venues. Wonderful.

Rooms a large. There is a nice sitting area and TV swivels. Walking distance to downtown San Jose for great food. Staff is very friendly and drinks are reasonably priced at the hotel bar. Rooms are clean and well stocked with coffee and a fridge.

Worst hotel stay ever. Hyatt completely disappointed us on our last stay. The worst worst thing was driving 7 hrs to get there and had to wait 2 hrs for our food to be ready it was a dinner meal for 2 adults 3 children 9 and under and it took them 2 hrs, a phone call to check on the food and a walk down to the lobby to see what was taking so long, and after waiting so long our order was still incomplete. There excuse was the lady that was supposed to make our food didn't hear the order come in because she was washing dishes. The crib that was requested at time of reservation was not ready for us at time of check in and the next morning there was bugs inside the apple juice during the complimentary breakfast. Lots more to share but to summarize this review THE WORST PLACE EVER!!! I do not recommend staying here

Staying for 9 nights. Got to experience quite a bit. The rooms are very dusty and need attention. The beds and pillows are wonderful.
Management is unaware and uninterested in anything beyond the lobby.
The breakfast is flavorless and bland. Coffee is good and plentiful. Cereal Bar is best bet after 3 days. Toast is good.
The beers are cold.
Nick on the night crew, front desk stood out for outstanding customer service. Nick has situational awareness, something noticeably lacking from the management and supervisors.response / report this review -

Service was great! Check in and out was very easy. Drinks at the bar were great. Quiet atmosphere. 24hr kitchen service is quite nice as well.

Great hotel. You really can't do better for the price point! The rooms are great, awesome lounging space in the room. Nice bathroom. Also great public common area space on the main floor. Awesome hotel gym. Free breakfast that is restaurant quality. Centrally located. Stay here!

When we came to check in, the people at the reception were very nice and made you feel welcome there. We were given a room in the upper floors, and it was very nice; room includes a nice couch, view from the window looked good, and beds were comfortable. However, one complaint I have with the room is the bathtub. Water flowed through the drain so slowly that it created a pool of soapy water covering my feet, which felt a little gross. Another small issue is the amount of dust in the room. Sure the room is clean, but not so much for the air. I dust in the air than I'd usually see at my house or a friend's house. Overall, the hotel is nice. Friendly staff. The hotel is well-maintained. Also, it's in a great location. My only issue was with the AC unit in my room. It stopped working in the middle of the night, so I got little sleep. The next morning, when I told the front desk, they offered to get engineering involved, but offered no other help (discounted room, room change, meal voucher, additional Hyatt Rewards points, etc).
