Called ahead and still had to wait 30 minutes in waiting area where 2 of the 4 chairs were stacked with 12-packs of sodas. Order was bundled up to carry; but makes it hard to confirm order. I should have confirmed order; my mistake. Order was wrong. Receipt is not itemized. Food was okay but we will not return. Zero stars.

RUDE PEOPLE! THIS PLACE IS DISHONEST. I ORDERED A PIZZA AND THEY DELIVER IT WRONG AND COLD 2 HOURS LATER. WHEN I CALL TO COMPLAIN THE OWNER ANSWERED. SHE IS RUDE AND UNKIND. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER AGAIN.

Any place with this type of management is likely also going to be lax on sanitation.
I have never seen such an abysmal restaurant as this. I ordered a 2 for 1 medium pizza and a turkey club panini with a side of bread sticks. The pizza options per their web site is a small 12" pizza Med 14" or large 16". I asked for a 14" medium. The panini is advertised on a multi-grain bread so I verified both the 14" and multi-grain options when I ordered.
Well close to two hours later the pizzas arrived. Cold, stiff and small (12") The Panini was on a white bread with no seeds at all and the cheese was of course also a solid yellow substance due to it's very cold temperature. i dashed out the door to ask the delivery person for help rectifying my order. He actually looked me in the eye and drove away.
So I call and call and call and call and call for about 20 min until someone answers. (With a thick accent) A lady professing to be the owner (after putting me on hold again) answers. I explain that i understand they are busy but they have made a mistake. Her reply? Wait for it. I am making her tired. She goes on to explain that the pizza is cold because they are busy. She can see this is my first time ordering so i obviously don't know the menu is wrong and they only sell Medium 12" and Large pizzas. The white bread is actually rye making it thereby multi-grain. I reply that is not what she is advertising or telling customers on the phone. She says if i drive the pizza to her and return all the food she will give me a refund I say hello my car is in the shop and i ordered delivery so I would not need to drive. Her answer? I don't care you don't order from us and you got what we have So if your in the mood for poor service, the wrong order served chilled with a dash of third world civility you really should try this pizza?response / report this review -

I've been a long time customer of this location, on 12/22/2016 I received my sandwich with mold on it. I called the manager on duty (mother of the owner) who was very kind and sent another sandwich my way. Today 9/28/17 I called to place an order (mind you I've placed many orders in between this time) and the manager on duty (son) tells me he doesn't want any "complaints" on this order. I of course question this with him and he tells me that we had complained on mold and he begins to tell me that I was incorrect and there was no mold and again he wanted no complaints on this order. This person, with whom he did not introduce himself other then the "son of the previous owner" began interrupting me and saying that I had a "file" with them. I asked him kindly to remove my file as I feel that moldy bread should not constitute my not being able to order from this facility, he does tell me I'm allowed to order but that basically I'm not allowed to "complain" anymore. I again am a lifelong customer of this resturant and will never go back there again because of the way I was treated. I would warn everyone to do the same.

Order from here quite frequently just stick to Pizza and Subs don't get french fries don't get wings Just Pizza and Subs everything else is just mediocre

Just ordered food from here. The first time I called was placed on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called again. They wanted to place me on hold for one more time. I had to explain to them that I was on hold for longer than normal.
After the food was ordered, I was told my food would be delivered in about 45 min. It took them an hour to deliver food.
My fries were cold and we all no that cold fries are gross.
I will not be ordering from here ever again.response / report this review -

They'll tell you 45 minutes, but, it actually takes 90 minutes plus for delivery. General poor customer service. Dinners are mediocre. Pizza is usually good. Sandwich meat, especially their turkey, is the cheap processed, slimy kind.

My family & I have been coming to Sam's Pizza & Subs ever since I was little. Out of all the places in Spotsylvania, it's one of our favorites. The staff at Sam's have always been polite and welcoming. Our food was done in a timely manner and always hot. I would 100% recommend Sam's.
