Spectacular place, I've been here many life and I never tired to go back. Beautiful views and landscape and the most important thing cactus. If you ride your bike throughout the park is worth it best circuit ever in Tucson. The best stop if you visit Tucson so far.

Saguaro National Park East is beautiful. I have been coming here since the 1970's. There are many wonderful, well-marked trails. The visitor's center has been remodeled and there are many things to see. They sell some excellent books about the area as well. There are plenty of picnic area, that are well maintained. The 8 mile loop through the park is exceptional.

We visited the west area of the park, taking the loop drive. Spectacular - a must do trip. Thousands of cacti of all varieties. Displays and visitors center outstanding. A great day trip from Phoenix. Best lunch - Coyote Pause Cafe, near the south entrance.

Great National Park. The Saguaros are breathtaking. Nice visitor center. I only had the chance to visit the East Park. The drive through the park is very nice and there are plenty of places where you can pull of and admire the Saguaros. I hope to get to visit the west park someday and also be able to visit when the saguaros are actually in bloom, which is in the spring.

This is a desert, deserts are known to be hot. Try not coming here when it's hot because there is absolutely no shade at all. When you come here, make sure to stop by the visitor's center. We went to many national parks and paid close to $100 and Derek was nice enough to tell us if they are still active and not expired, we can use that to get a annual card! This was awesome since we always go to parks and we end up paying 20 or 30 bucks a time!

When you begin, know there is only a loop for non 4X4. The rest of the roads are 4x4 only. This is all dirt road but it's maintained dirt road and a 8 mile loop! Now you have to know that there isn't really many designated parking spots so if you do pull over, make sure pull over all the way to the side. While there is many, many cactus, that's all the park is. Well that's for the west side of the park. East side of the park is more of a mountain type setting instead of a desert. You probably won't be able to both regions unless you start early in the morning.

It was great seeing it and probably would have been better if it was cooler than the 100 degree scorching weather

I went in early October. It was 88 degrees and we did a mile long hike. It was a bit too hot for hiking. Go when it is cooler. The saguaros are amazing. The drive around the park was fun.

This place is definitely worth a visit. It’s incredible how much life exists in the desert here. The cacti are impressive, and the sunsets are not to be missed! Everything has thorns, so dress appropriately (sandals not recommended).

Went to the Rincon side of the park and took a few short hikes around the forest. Make sure you carry in enough water. The saguaros (that are left) are awesome and worth the visit. The park has a good bit of wildlife and various other types of cacti.

Definitely put this park on your bucket list! The cacti are incredible, and the information center has a lot of interesting information on them. If you come to hike, make sure you bring plenty of water and sunscreen! We walked only about half of a mile with partially filled water bottles and after felt pretty terrible. Well worth the visit for the gorgeous vistas, though--just come prepared!!

This is what iconic Arizona Looks like. See wildlife, massive saguaros, and our majestic Catalina mountain range. Not an easy hike but beautiful! Tip: over pack water!

I have been surrounded by Saguaros since I moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1964, however I have never been to the NP. When we arrived, the saguaros were beginning to bloom (only those 40 years old and older). The park has an 8 mile dirt trail loop that displays some of the best saguaro and chaparral I have every seen. There are places for picnicking, however it was too hot that day for man or beast.

I really enjoy this park both the west and the East locations. The West has a awesome trail that leads you to the top of the highest peak which has amazing views. And the east side of the park has a nice variety of trails

This park offered short and long trails, both were beautiful. If you do visit, bring bug spray and Sun block! I've never seen such huge cacti before!

This park is really quite nice. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours if you want to see a reasonable amount of the park. I highly recommend going off-road on the scenic drive. I saw a Honda Civic do it, so your vehicle should have no issues. We saw coyotes, road runners, jack rabbits, as well as a multitude of other birds / lizards, etc.

A wonderful national park with a west and east side on either side of Tucson. The west has some fun canyon and mountain trails through forests of saguaro and other types of cacti. Hohokam Rd loop drive is nice with multiple trails and great spots to see a nice sunset. Sadly I only did one trail on the west side but there is lots to see there too.
