My husband booked an overnight stay for my birthday. We stayed in a beautiful king suite. The views are gorgeous! Had dinner at Epazote. Nice and cozy restaurant and our meals were delicious. Can't wait to go back and stay longer.
Attended a wellness event there. Then I walked around the hotel to take a peek. Very nice employee I met there. Really lovely hotel property. Also check out the gift shop. Nice items
Recently we attended a wedding that was held at Sunset Point at the Hilton El Conquistador, then stayed the night in the main hotel. I have normally had very good experiences at the Hilton, especially this location, but this time was different. Some bad things we experienced were as follows. The grass was very wet and muddy for the ceremony, although we were told they wouldn't water for at least 2 days beforehand to avoid this problem. Our room was very noisy, all through the night, even though we were in the middle, not by any doors or the ice machine or elevators. I don't know if the walls were just that thin or if things outside were just that loud. Either way, it was very bothersome and didn't make for a good night sleep or morning to sleep in. There were some good things about our stay, however. The staff at the reception was very nice, pleasant and attentive during dinner and dancing. The young gentleman at the valet was very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, which somewhat made up for the noise. The rooms were also clean and had nice bathrooms with a vanity outside of the bathroom, which is perfect for getting ready while someone else is in the shower or using the toilet. Overall, even with the noise, it was still a pleasant stay. Next time, though, I think I will stick with the casitas, which are nice and quiet.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The mountain backdrop is seriously something out of a post card. The room was standard but clean and nice, with a great view. The hotel catered the food for our conference, and it was all very good. Pool bartenders were friendly and attentive, and the pool areas were really nice. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely come back.
I was so disappointed in this resort. I was so excited to book this resort for my wedding night and turns out I was extremely disappointed instead. When we checked in, the man at the front desk didn't seem to happy, was kind of rude.. gave us a map and directed us in the complete opposite direction of where we were supposed to go. Mind you, in my wedding dress.. that was fun. Continue to walk around this place 5 times to find where we really needed to be. Find our room. We walk in, handicapped room. Obviously it was our wedding night, I called them and told them this when I booked in advance, and we still got this room, when neither me nor my husband is handicapped! The second night, we mentioned something to them around 9 pm when we got back from doing everything we needed to do the day after the wedding. They put us in a nice room, which is what we originally booked. But we were checking out that next day at 11, so it really didn't matter. Wasn't the least bit apologetic. I tried calling and speaking with someone there, left multiple messages; still have not received a phone call back. Funny how the manager is always 'is in a meeting' or 'is leaving at this time' the 15 times we have called over the course of a month! Not to mention, all at different times! Ugh it's so frustrating. I only get one wedding night :( I'm so sorry, would not recommend the least bit.
The only opportunity I had to interact with the hotel staff was at the restaurant for lunch. The host was clearly having a rough day and was pouting, stomping around, and shaking her head for about 20 minutes. Strange. Then the server, who was very funny, crossed the line and joked that he served my friend a jack and coke, when my friend ordered a coke. This would have been fine, but I understand that some people are actively trying NOT to think or drink alcohol. Bad form. Otherwise, the grounds were absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful landscaping and ground floor room facing the pool area was nice. Loved the gym, hot tub and variety of activities. Four stars because waited over 40 minutes for coffee and fixings. Front desk didn't apologize and he just said it probably hadn't been delivered. Seemed disinterested. Found room attendant six doors down from us. She was very apologetic, said she hadn't been notified and totally took care of us. Never got a call back from the front desk to see if our request had been met. Also was first time ever saying there would be a charge when asking about available upgrades.
Okay I don't live in a high class society so I may not be the best judge of this but this resort is easily the fanciest most lovely and inclusive place I've ever been ever. The pools were warm. The water slide was fun for kid and adult alike (I'm a kid at heart) the bars were nice, pricey but I just sort of figured that. I didn't have to pay the overnight stay fee so I can't account for affordability but wow I'd stay here again if I could.
Majestic scenery and beautiful grounds. The family and I were lucky enough to spend 3 days here enjoying all Tucson had to offer.
All amenities at the hotel were splendid and the on site restaurant was great. If you get the time to relax by the pool I would strongly suggest it because the pool side help is AMAZING! Never felt more taken care of at a facility like this.
The only reason it's not 5 is the rooms didn't meet the same quality as the rest of the resort
This is a beautiful resort with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Great service from everyone and very clean. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the pool is nice. All in all a very nice stay. The only problem with this resort is the food! We ordered late night guacamole and salsa with chips and they were un eatable. Awful to say the least. We also tried to eat breakfast at their restaurant and that didn't get any better. Great server awful food!! For such a nice place they should have great southwest food with flavor. It's far out from the city so you need to have better eating options at the resort. I hope they start to take pride in the food they are serving and not just trying to get by with cheap flavorless meals.
Beautiful property and newly remodeled. The room and the common areas were very well done. The staff was wonderful. After a long day of driving we arrived as the kitchen was closing and the chef called to make sure we cot the late evening snack we wanted. The breakfast was also terrific. The setting is grand and has the Coronado National Forrest and mountains as a back drop.
Five stars to the staff. Nice property. Great view. Good pools. Exceptional bedding. Only flaw, the doors on the room leave a small crack allowing sound from the hall to come in. Very small complaint though. The bedding beats other resorts in the area, so even though some may have a little nicer grounds, the Hilton wins.
