At first we were skeptical about the location but after a couple days we grew accustomed to it - it is safe but there is the occasional 'shady' people hanging out on the corner a few blocks away. Because of its reasonable rates it does have a busy front desk so don't get discouraged if you're placed on hold for any length of time of you call there. The room for our needs (clean, bug-free, quiet, reasonably priced) as did it's location (close to shopping, downtown and 30 minutes from COTA).

Unbelievable in the bad way! Left to work and came back room with some druggie in the room asleep. Called front desk to see wth was going on. Lady claimed someone let her in but she had a key. Even the cleaning lady said she seen her around here. Something going on in this hotel of giving ppl keys. The manager tried to flip it on us saying, she was one of our friends. Supposedly they made a police report but never saw police. If it wasn't for our company that paid for our rooms. I wouldn't chose this place ever again. Trash ass place!!!

Tried to stay for two nights but my room was given away. Manager dodged calls for refunds after he hung up on me. Don’t bother wasting your money

Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for visitors. Hotel was convienently located near the highway and not too far from the downtown. The room was okay. Some of the fixtures we're falling off the wall and lights werent plugged in/light bulbs were out. Plenty of parking at the back. Good for the price.

A nice motel. The only thing is the owner is in too big of a hurry to collect first night stay even when it is held with a credit card. You can't check in until 3:00 p.m. ( which is fine ) but at 3:05 p.m. they want to be paid.

The outside is deceiving and needs some work and landscaping. BUT,.the rooms have been completely refurbished and refurnished!!! IT'S WONDERFUL!!! Well insulated walls so you don't hear any of the other occupants or traffic, even though it's close to the highway. THE BED AND PILLOWS ARE SOFT AND HEAVENLY TO SLEEP ON!!! Sam at the front desk is very nice, helpful, and courteous! The mexican restaurant attached has pretty good food too!

I really enjoyed the recently renovated rooms. The outside looks a little rough but don't let that throw you. Great location and comfy clean rooms :)

For a budget motel, the rooms at this Rodeway were pretty darn nice. Bed was big and comfy, decent TV, plenty of hot water with good pressure.

Good location for heading Downtown or North/South on the I-35.

SUITE WAS SPECTACULAR. We splurged along our route and went with the suite here for two nights. Well worth the cost, full kitchen, spotlessly clean, television in every room, super comfortable beds. Front desk was confused about Mexican Restaurant next door giving us a discount, they did not, no big deal. Pool was clean and relaxing, suite was fabulous. Nice staff, overall a wonderful stay!

The rooms match the pictures. Very happy with our stay. Clean rooms and bathrooms at an affordable price. $84/night. With 2 kids we are always traveling on a budget. Clean sheets and clean restroom. So far the best value we have found. Goodbye econo lodge.

Now if only they'd get rid of the 30.06 sign. Oh well that's just for the office, not the rooms. Owner is nice and friendly staff.

Worst experience I've had with a motel. The rooms looked decent but were small. The pool was dirty. Just an hour into our stay and some lovely cockroaches came to give us a warm welcome. Had problems with the toilet; wouldn't flush correctly. The parking was terrible as well. Luckily the only thing we didn't have a problem with was talking to the front desk and not getting an attitude in return.

This is a motel charging hotel prices, which I could live with if it was nicer. The sheets seemed clean, and the paint colors were modern. Poorly done patch work on the wall when you first got in. A piece of the ceiling was missing in the bathroom. Vanity was in below average shape. The kicker was that the fridge in the room was broken. The guy who worked at the front desk couldn't fix it (which isn't his job), was told maintenance would come, didn't, then was told the manager would handle it and get a new one, didn't, and wouldn't move us to a new room so our food spoiled.

I have stayed at some pretty sheisty motels this one tops the cake.
My first night here the toilet did not work in the shower barely sprayed, I've been here a week now I have had to have maintenance come back to my room everyday to we clean it such as beds not being made bathrooms not being cleaned out and replenished with soaps and towels management seems to have an attitude everytime I speak to them about the issue. And on top of everything lots of loud noises at night can barely sleep weather at being people outside or the vehicles passing by the highway. And a top it all off the parking was absolutely horrible. ONE OR THE WORST I HAVE EVER STAYED IN, DO NOT STAY HERE.

I paid and made a reservation for a room with 2 double beds in March for my stay in July. When I arrived for my July stay. I was told that they overbooked so there was not a room with double beds available. I was inconvenienced with 1 a king bed. The room was clean. The dead bolt on The door was missing. A staff member came to my door knocked once did not give me time to open door. He used his key to open The door. If The deadbolt would not have been missing this would not have happened. The commode made an extremely loud noise when flushed. The outside of the hotel was dirty looking. Parking was horrible. More like a truckers hotel. I do not recommended this hotel for families

Very helpful staff. Some things did not work properly but the staff was quick to help and never had a bad attitude.
