Lower cost than some hotels but not inexpensive @ $139. Good front desk service day or later night. Included decent breakfast. Comfortable king bed. Working desk for one person. Internet access included. Nice front area couch. Big TV if you're into, that although pre-HD. Complimentary ear plugs handy if neighbors noisy.

Especially thankful for the knowledgeable desk staff. Not only professional, but also quite helpful for directions, suggestions and welcoming attitude to Austin, Texas. The rooms are nice, and hopefully I`'ll be visiting the great state of Texas again. Hopefully I`ll be able to finally try Franklin`s bbq if I can.

The location of the Hyatt here is very central to many places, and there are markets nearby, minutes away on foot. Felt like middle class or above area from the 2.5 days I was there. The neighborhood seemed to me pretty busy in traffic during the day, but was generally clean, the roads I drove were in pretty good shape, and saw no panhandlers around.

The decor in the hotel was very modern but the actual rooms looked a little bit dated. Free breakfast was a nice perk. Breakfast was adequate but not fantastic. Good place to stay

This place had great service, A++. The room we got was really big for a hotel room. It felt like I was in a mini apartment. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a great selection, with good food. I definitely recommend staying here.

Had a nice stay at the property. Well laid out room, well maintained. Convenient location. Multiple encounters with helpful and friendly staff. The only real knock is the HVAC unit was quite loud. I will look to book here first the next time I am in Austin.

As a Hyatt employee, I sent my Step-Dad here. Upon arriving he dropped his wallet and 800$ was stolen. They found the wallet in an elevator he was never in. Rather then review the tapes and help him find out who it was the GM asked him "How did the wallet get in the elevator?" Well Sherlock it jumped! She refused to review the tapes and acted like she didn't care. We are almost certain it was the housekeeper. Wouldn't you want to know if your staff had stolen from guest? The next time she seen him the manager blew him a kiss and laughed. Hyatt standard is empathy and guest first. This was not true at this location. Please be aware!

Great Service and Comfortable Rooms. Definitely would stay again. Just don't expect big bowls for cereal to be available, if that's something your going to request.

Nice overall. Major negatives were the bathroom and noise level. The bathroom was so small the door could not open all the way. It would hit the shower. The ceiling in the bathroom only appeared to be 6'8? I am 6'5 and it felt very closed in. The noise level between rooms was fine but the windows were low quality that every outside noise could be heard. I was frequently woken up throughout the night. (i.e. - garbage trucks in the alley at 3am)

Room was better than expected. Everything was clean. Small area of the ceiling in my room seemed to have water damage. Not sure how that happened. Also, the light next to the king bed was not operating correctly. But these were both small things to me. Still a great hotel!

Perfectly decent hotel. Not amazing, but we got a great price free breakfast was standard fare, but tasty. Comfy bed. Shower only, no bathtub in our room. I'd stay here again.

Room was large and nice, but bathroom smelled and was a bit dirty. Staff was nice and helped us when our cards kept deactivating from being next to our phones. The breakfast was better than other hotels but not great. They had popcorn and flavored water in the lobby.

The overall look is good and clean and they offer a free hot breakfast but the housekeeping in the room was somewhat lacking. I found wrappers from the soap on the floor and all the pillows were on one bed. When I moved some of them, I found the TV remote hidden under one of them. There was also some debris in the shower that looked like it had been rinsed to the drain and then just left to settle.

Just OK. Staff is nice and the hotel has everything you expect, but when I checked in there was a half-dead cricket on my floor, a hair on my bed and hair in the shower. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign for the door. The cleaning staff left a pop bottle in my room. I was woken up at 3:00 AM to a group of girls swimming in the pool just outside my window. I won't return to this property and Hyatt will not be my first choice in the future.

It's a nice Hyatt Place. The room we had was clean and big, but I could not get the AC unit to get the room cool enough. They had plenty of good food at breakfast, it was crowded and kept up with it very well. We will stay here again next time we are in the area.

It was an odd experience. We noticed the water was slimy, sort of like we could never get the soap off of our bodies. After a few Google searches I found that some cities "soften" the water by removing calcium and magnesium. I had never heard of this before but I didn't find any evidence that this was practiced by the city of Austin. So I asked a maintenance on guy and he confirmed that the hotel, not the city, does indeed soften the water. He agreed with me that it makes the water feel slimy, to the point of finishing my own sentence, and I could tell by the expression on his face that he probably couldn't understand why they do it either. I wouldn't return just for that fact. It was kinda gross. Furthermore, they didn't have a guest laundry room and sent us to another Hyatt a half mile away to use their laundry room. That was a first too.
