I booked a room with two beds but when I got there I was informed that only rooms with one bed was available, No rooms with sofa pull out beds. They then roll in a mattress that looked like it was from the 20 centry with blood stains on it and expected me to put the mattress cover on it myself. The mattress had no padding, it felt like you were laying on springs with a piece of fabric on it. They did offer us free breakfast. All in all, service and quality of room were below standards however, they always have the best cookies.

After consulting with a manager about the unusually high incidental rate they place as a hold on my card, he agreed to only place a $50 hold. The next day, when trying to pay for my lunch, my card was declined. When I checked my bank account it turned out more than was agreed had been placed on hold. The whole experience of having my card declined was humiliating. I called to let the manager know about the issue. He proceeded to explain to me as if I were an idiot about how the holds work and that my card wasn't charged but a hold was placed. That doesn't change the fact that the funds are made unavailable and I was embarrassed by the situation. He also tried to blame the "system" for placing a larger amount than agreed upon on ky card. Will never stay at this property again with so many MUCH better options so nearby.

Honestly probably one of the best places ive ever been. It looks as if its meant to be classy but you can honestly just be yourself. They serve amazingly well, and the staff are humble and nice. Its easy to spot plus its pretty eye catching when the lights turn on.
The only thing(s) i want are the party room could adjust its dance floor.
I guess also its pretty easy to get lost so more signs \_O-O_/

Although I think the hotel could use an update, the rooms were clean and well stocked. Staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was good. Reasonable price and convenient location to access highways to anywhere in the Dallas area.

Great location! The shower leaked the whole night, but they did say they were renovating. Pillows could have been better. They were more like throw pillows.

It has that old feel to it. Beds creak. Tub peeling. Needs major room overhaul and inner work as well. Paint job needs to be done. Outdated Cannot.do not. The staff was nice though.

The food at the restaurant was very good (great Wings!), and Caleb the bartender was amazing. Room was nice and overall the service was very good! Will definitely return if I have to travel here again.

The Good: Quiet stay near where I needed. Comfortable beds and somewhat friendly staff.

The Bad: My room had an extremely small bathroom and no exhaust vent to take care of the humidity generated by the shower. The room's air conditioner struggled to dehumidify afterwards.

Additionally, because I paid a "discounted" military room rate I did not receive a complimentary breakfast coupon. However, the room discount was less than the full price I paid for the normally complimentary breakfast.

I guess this billing trick is how DoubleTree says, "Thank you for your service" I am planning to visit the area again in a few weeks and will stay at a hotel where I feel more welcomed as a veteran.

Nice facilityrooms, bathrooms, meeting room all clean and well maintained! Fridge & microwave in room! Lots of nearby restaurants. Great breakfast buffet included. Service was good in the meeting room. Front desk staff overall was the least impressive aspect. Several of them were short and grudgingly helpful. Gift shop closed middaythat was inconvenient for the students in my class.

Best around! Clean, attractive, comfortable and staff is 100% professional and friendly. There are comparably-priced hotels close by yet this one stands out. I've loved every stay i have had!

We had to book a stay last minute because of an A/C at our house at 8:30PM on a Tuesday evening. I booked the room online and showed up 30 minutes later. My family was greeted very nicely and got a cookie at check-in! I arrived later and had a great stay. Wonderful staff and very accommodating!

This was a great place to stay!! Very clean & I loved the electric A/C pad instead of the window units that most still have. The customer service was very good as well.
My only complaint would be that their pillows were square which was really strange.

Arrived around 9:00 and was greeted by helpful and friendly front desk staff. We received prompt attention and they even had a cookie for us. Went up to the room and found it clean and cool. Bed was big and comfortable. Woke up the next morning and was able to eat the breakfast in the breakfast room located in the lobby. The staff friendly and attentive. All in all I enjoyed my stay at Double Tree.

Walls are paper thin. First 2-3 hours after checking in had to hear thr couple in the room next to us have Rough Sex!! Turned up T.V to tune out all the Moaning, Grunts, and Squealing! Guest across the Hall were standing out of their room laughing. 5 minutes after they finished we had to hear the Gentleman snoring as if someone put a microphone up to his mouth and nose for the entire floor to hear! Notified front desk just to hear them laugh as if I were joking! Beds are Horrible and need new mattresses, had springs in my back. Bathrooms very small, literally almost had my knees up to my chest when I sat on the pot! Spent one night, and last, there!! Lobby smelled of Curry, Indians were throwing a party or sacrificing somebody in the Ballroom. Probably get your monies worth at Motel 6!!
