Rockin' R River Rides is a time tested staple out here on River Road. The owners and staff have been around this river most of their lives and know how to ensure that their patrons have a wonderful time. It is a bit expensive but the prices are still reasonably competetive and they have some of the best service on the river. No hassles, just make sure you get picked up by the last bus in or you will be looking at a looooooong walk.

We signed up for 1/2 day river rafting and we were only in the water for an hour if that. After we got out of the boats we stood around in the hot sun for another hour while they cut up fruit and cheese which should have been done in advance. It wasn't very well planned and the 1/2 day rafting was misleading as it was only one hour rafting. The guides were great. They were very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. I enjoyed listening to them tell stories.

We scheduled a shuttle to come pick us up and it was a nightmare. When we called an hour in advanced to push back the time, nobody would pick up. The bus driver wanted cash upon pickup, but he didn't keep track of who gave him how much and how many people got on. There was absolutely no paper trail. At the end, we were short $75 and we couldn't figure out how. Make sure you get the cash together before handing it to the bus driver. He ended up letting us pay the rest by card when we got to the hub. It would have been much less of a headache, had we gotten to pay via card in the first place!

Tubes are black and get very very hot. The bottoms are attached in a way that leaves open slits, so you have to be careful to not lose anything. One of our tubes popped after hitting a rock.

Wonderful day here floating the river. 2-3 hours was the perfect amount, i think the longer float would have been awful. Highly recommend a tube with a bottom to it- otherwise you might get hurt on the rocks. Staff was great and the bus service back to the parking area was wonderful.

I was so excited to go tubing on the river this year since i haven't had the chance to go frequently due to my work schedule. The people in the front were nice but when we had to get our tubes from the back the kids handing the tubes out were SO RUDE! My sister and i kept asking them if they could switch the tubes that were given to us because they felt like they needed more air in them and the kid called the lady from the front that was being nice to us in the beginning and the lady came to the back and told us that they were all like that and there wasn't anything she could do with attitude. we picked the 5 hour float the tube didn't even last 3 hours my sister's tube popped and my sister had to swim for 2 hours and lets not forget to mention that there are strong rafts in some areas in the river. We are so livid and so done tubing here. for safety cautions i suggest the company checks the damn tubes before they are given to the public!

The staff was super nice. We love going down the river. I have not done this since college year. We spent about 4 hours down the river. Some part of the river was very slow. Over all, we love it. Checkout Groupon before you go, they usually have it on sale per person.

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. We always use Rockin R for our river trips. Do yourself a favor and reserve online, the line is generally long when we get there. Insider tips: use sunblock, bring food, drink water 2, and put a bungee cord on your cooler in case it flips over. See you soon Rockin R.
