Mornings are always filled with overweight servicemen/women that couldnt keep up with the morning's P.T. session. I would recommend going in the afternoon

Ignore the bad reviews.. Long waiting times are normal at Hospitals.. Customer service here was definitely 5stars!!!

Spent Friday night of a holiday weekend at the ER with a toddler and had a surprisingly good time. Nurses, corpsmen, xray technician and doctor were very helpful and kind and really tried to make it as easy as possible on my 2 year old. It took a while to have the xrays read, but that's to be expected after hours.

The other reviews I've read are totally bananas! The staff is so kind and friendly. And of course the wait sucks but COME ON. Everyone knows that going to the ER you better have a few hours to hang out and wait. I had a really nice experience here. I've also never written a review for anything ever because I'm too lazy but after reading these dumb complaints I thought I'd come to their defense.

My experience here was excellent. I have been in civilian hospitals before and treatment here was superior. Was treated in ER and then had surgery for multiple left leg fractures. I was in this facility nearly two weeks recovering. The care I received was exceptional.

Hated the ER.. Looked at me like I was crazy for coming in for cramps because I was pregnant??? Scared to go back to have this baby

Excellent and very compassionate care was given for my acute condition. They got me in quickly and managed my pain when I couldn't bare it at home anymore. I would recommend this place no doubt. Also, if they can not treat you they will refer you to some place that can.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. Please, listen, don't go to this hospital. Not only did I have a terrible birth experience here and almost die, my daughter was born with infection because the refused to give me a c-section and my water had been broken for more than 24 hours. So with that being said, she had to stay two extra days in the hospital to get antibiotics. Two days later we came in for her first well baby check up, only to find that the lab had let her blood tests become contaminated, and they had to READMIT HER for another TWO DAYS to pump more antibiotics into her, to "ensure" nothing was wrong with her. This hospital gave us nothing but problems the rest of her time we were stationed in 29 palms. The worst part is, my daughter and I both are back home now, and we are having to be treated for STAPH, which is believed to have been contracted from the Naval hospital (this was the only facility we had used up until we returned home). It's been 2 years now and her and I both still cannot get rid of the Staph infection we contracted. Another incident happened with my husband, to where he injured his leg in the field. He kept telling the doctors that he couldn't put any weight on it, and no one would listen and he was ordered to return to work (like he was faking). Three days later, the hospital called us and asked my husband to come back up to the facility because a doctor had re-reviewed his X-ray, only to find he had a hair line fracture in his shin. Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU DONT HAVE TO.

I have not had a horrible experience at this hospital. So far I have seen gold team (pediatrics) blue team (my PC and OBGYN) the lab, and the pharmacy.
I have always been able to get an appointment quickly. Typically the same day I call if it's urgent. The staff at the front desks are always nice and the nurses and corpsmen are nice as well. I have really liked every doctor I've met with. Some can be quick and rush through appointments (typical military/doctor fasion) but if you make it clear you need talk a little bit more they usually respect that.
The lab can take forever sometimes, but the pharmacy is usually quick.
I delivered my duaghter at this hospital in sept 2016. The L and D nurses and corpsmen were great. I was really nervous about getting an IV (I had bad experiences before) the corpseman assured me he could get it on the first try. Sure enough he did! I was also scared to do pitocin (again, bad experience ) the nurses assured me I could stop at anytime if things got too crazy. They and the doctor encouraged me to give my V-bac a chance and that they would monitor me closely. Even though I was on continuous monitoring they let me stand and labor in different positions. When I didn't progress I decided it was time for a c-section. Which was awesome that they all respected that. I was quickly moved to the OR. All the staff members were wonderful and worked well under pressure. I didn't know it at the time, but they couldn't find my daughters heart beat for 3ish minutes before I went under the knife. My spinal block wasn't working but the anesthesiologist stayed calm and was able to get it to work. Dr. Antel then quickly delivered my daughter. (Who came out crying thank goodness!) They brought her over to me so I could see her in her bloody, nasty glory. My husband was able to cut the cord and I was able to hold her while they stitched me up. (I could have nursed but it would have been too hard) they took my daughter away to be weighed and measured while I was finishing up. My husband stayed with my daughter the whole time. Once I was finished I was wheeled to my room where my daughter was waiting for me. I was then able to nurse and do New Mom stuff.
I love this hospital becuase at the one I delivered my son at I had to be kept in a recovery room away from my son and husband.(They also didn't let me hold my son until I was out of surgery.) This hospital brings you right back to your room where you can be with your family.
The recovery care was great. They were very on top of my pain medication and general care. ( though I would recommend you ask for pain killers 30 minutes before you need them becuase when they were busy it did take a little bit for them to get me my medication) The only thing I didn't care for was that the nurses and the corpsmen would come in at different times. The nurses would check on me and the corpsmen would check on baby. So you had someone coming in every 20-30 minutes. So you couldn't get a whole lot of rest. I wish they would have done it at the same time.
Over all I just love how chill this hospital is. It's not perfect. It it's light years better than the past hospitals I've been too.
I feel like when I came here there wasn't any good info about this hospital. Over all I really like it. I've had great expirences thus far. I hope this helps anyone who is going to be seen here.response / report this review -

Very good obstetrics facilities, but honestly the worst ER I have ever seen. If you can avoid it don't go here for emergency care. They are consitstantly slow, rude, and will tell you that they are full when a walk around will reveal only one or two other people.
