The updated rooms in Royal Gorge are fantastic, especially the bathroom facilities. The grounds are immaculate, and hospitality is first rate. Not to mention the breathtaking scenery

Even though we didn’t get to explore much of the outdoors due to the weather, the rooms in the 8200 section were clean and comfortable. The conference room also had plenty of space and A/V equipment was very modern. Food was also great and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our group will be planning a third visit next year.

You don't need to be affiliated with the Southern Baptists or even larger Evangelical movement to enjoy thier hospitality. Price is tough to beat. Many guests are church youth groups. Rooms are comparable to a college dorm. Lots of young guests can be a bit noisey. It is a 20 min drive to most food and hikes we attend to during our stay. I don't recommend the breakfast. Cloud cafe does good coffee. The ladies behind the counter are a joy.

Almost everything about this facility during a 3 night visit exceeded our expectations. Rooms and facilities were modern and much less expensive than many in the Asheville area. NOTE: There are no TVs in guest rooms (at least in ours). If you want to watch news, download an App for your computer before leaving home. Meals were expensive (breakfast $10) and had limited hours of operation. Good exercise facility with modern equipment.

Great area and very cozy. Had some trouble with rooming assignments but other than that a great stay! Also everything is very far apart but it is nice to get out and walk

Good place to have retreats and conferences. It's is situated 5 minutes away from Black Mountain and within 20-30 minutes of Asheville. There is plenty to do around here when you have free time.

Excellent customer service, I left my charger not knowing that I left my wallet and everything was wrapped up in a bag at the front desk waiting for me thank you Lord I did not know I left my wallet at all so I thought I'd just left my phone charger but it was there I thank them so much, excellent Personnel customer services..😊😇💝

This is a wonderful conference center that can handle a crowd of 1500+ smoothly and with great attentiveness. The food was top notch and each meal had options for those with food allergies. The auditorium AV and acoustics meant there was not a bad seat in the house.
