Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and surpassed my expectations. The ribs, turkey and roast beef all have great flavors. Plan on going there more than once.
This was my first time here. After driving by many times saying, " I need to try that place out." This is at there new location. Located in the River Arts district. Fantastic atmosphere here in this old, formerly abandoned industrial warehouse.
I had the pulled pork with green beans and jalapeno cheese grits. It was delicious. Pork had a lot of flavor. They have three types of sauce. Tangy tomato based, Spicy mustard, And tomato vinegar. The sides were fresh, not from a can. And it comes with a piece of cornbread. I would definitely recommend this place. And I will be returning in the future to try the ribs.
Their food is SO GOOD! They just catered my wedding this past weekend and they were so easy to work with! They even came out when they were closed (we had a surprise 12in of snow) to prepare our food for us.
Would recommend this spot every time! We love 12 Bones!
Not to mention - so many people at the Wedding said they LOVED the food!
Food is very good. We had only been here once before 3 years I ago. The food lived up to the memory, not the least bit disappointed. Well be back as soon as we can!
Everyone was very nice the place is so clean.
My favorite BBQ place! My only complaint is that they are only open a few hours so be sure to check times before you go. BBQ is always good no matter what you get and in terms of sides I recommend corn pudding, sweet potatoes, and mac n' cheese. The line may be long but once you order the food is quick to come out. Always fun to grab a drink at Wedge Brewery while you wait.
Line was down the building. Taking orders seemed to be bottle neck or too many people not knowing what they wanted? But once the food was ordered it seemed to come out fast. Pulled pork plate is my go to order with grits! And the new location looks great!
Amazing! My husband had 6 bones 2 different flavors and I had the brisket slices. All was amazing, the sides are good also. Have to get there early because they close at 4p but you can order take out until 6p. Well worth it!
Amazing ribs! The line goes fast so wait for it!
You wait in lineline, just to order, and then you go and sit down. it's worth the wait.
Ribs are amazing! I wanted to get the pulled pork that looked awesome, but I didn't try..😒 I had the brisket ..but thankfully my husband had ribs that he shared with me. I also had the corn pudding which was off the hook!! pecan pie was just okay. the green beans tasted like they were frozen green beans that weren't cooked all the way through, (not crazy about them) I wished that I had tried the coleslaw instead, it looked awesome.my husband had the baked beans and the braised greens which were perfect.
Some of the best ribs I've ever had. Their sauces are expertly crafted and they don't drown the ribs. The ribs are meaty. Sandwiches are tasty and the sweet tea is good.
Staff is helpful and friendly and they have plenty of seating both inside and outside.
A must try for BBQ fans.
Well, we were very excited to go to 12 Bones after reading all the great reviews. The location was really cool and the atmosphere was cool too. The food was good as well; good, but certainly not as awesome as the reviews made it out. The biggest letdown was really the staff; not a one them was pleasant, let alone inviting. They actually seemed irritated with all the customers. We were there in the mid-afternoon and they decided it was time to mop the floor in our section, so they started putting the empty chairs up on the tables and literally mopped the floors right up to our feet. When we joked with them about being in the way, they just smirked. I might give 12 Bones another shot since the food was good, but I definitely hope to get another crew running the show. Left feeling more than a bit disappointed.
Have eaten at 12 Bones before. First time, can't remember the year, everything was excellent. The sides were the best I can ever remember. But this time, not very good. Pork was okay, but a little dry. Potato salad was big lump of potato and very dry. The baked beans were also very dry and did not have the flavor I remember. I don't forget excellent barbecue, but 12 Bones has gone downhill from the pastto bad. I will be hard pressed to go back. Sorry, but this is how I see 12 Bones now.
The hours of operation is not long but the place is packed. The place feels cozy. They have paper towel rolls on each table. They allow customers to write on the white walls which i thought was really nice. Their ribs are the best. The pulled pork and cornbread are a little bit dry. We love all their sides especially the smoked mushroom side.
Super cool place! Stopped here passing through on vacation from Ohio. We will definitely stop there again if we return to the area. Ribs were excellent! Try the blueberry ribs! Really friendly staff too! Loved it.
The brisket was thinly-cut and dry, but had an outstanding flavor. They have a nice selection of sauces, should you require them, but I was content without them. The mac & cheese was superb, and the green beans were equally as good. Food came promptly even though it was during the lunch rush. My friend had the turkey sandwich which he said was phenomenal.
